Here is the outfit I wore to debut my Anjolee necklace (detail photos and information here.) I also wore the newest sweater in my closet. I got it on at Madewell when they had an additional 40% off sale items + free shipping, my favorite kind of sale! As I've said many times before - my Fall (and Winter) uniform is a sweater and jeans. I need to force myself to wear skirts and dresses in the cold weather and to try new combinations, but on weekends I always fall back to my foolproof look. Why dress up when all you'll be doing is hanging around at home or spending hours shopping at Marshalls, Home Depot and Michael's (like I did this day.)
Sweater: Madewell, Jeans: rag & bone (Shopbop), Flats c/o Joie (also here), Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Saks Friends & Family Sale), Sunglasses: : Ray Ban 'Emma' (Marshalls), Necklace c/o Anjolee, Watch: Skagen (Rue La La), Rings: vintage & Mom's

Who doesn't love a good diamond? Exactly. Anjolee recently let me choose a diamond necklace from their site to review. I chose this GORGEOUS three stone horizontal pendant. I am a big fan of the less is more mantra when it comes to diamonds (if they're too big they look fake, in my opinion,) so these smaller ones are perfect. The quality of the necklace is superb, although I had a little trouble putting it on (I blame it on the fact that I couldn't see the clasp and it is smaller than average.) The necklace is the perfect size and is a great classic, dainty piece that I will wear for years to come. This necklace will definitely be in my rotation for daily use, it will compliment any outfit it is paired with.
The best thing about Anjolee is the fact that you can customize each piece exactly as you want it. So you can go for the best of the best or a more budget friendly option depending on your needs. They offer 7 types of metal, various total carat weights, diamond quality and size, for each jewelry item on their website. Many of the pieces also include colored gems which you can choose making them great for gift giving: birthstone jewelry is always a good idea in my book. For example, the diamonds in the necklace below can be switched out for gemstones (either the center one, or the sides.) I toyed with the idea of making the center diamond an Amethyst (my favorite color) but decided to keep it basic.
Check back tomorrow for the outfit post featuring the necklace!
* Mine are not actual diamonds; for the purpose of the review I was sent a sample with cubic zirconia rather than diamonds.
** I received the necklace free for the purpose of this post, all opinions are my own.

I sported this look two weekends ago when I went to Lydia's to help clean out her closet. Man, that girl has a lot of clothes! ;) We got rid of a ton and her closet was still stuffed, but it was definitely a good start. After that we headed to the thrift store to drop off some of her stuff and then we took some photos in the town center. Fall is always a great time of year for photos, even if it's a little chilly.

I hope everyone had a lovely week. Mine was quite busy and today will be busy as well. But at least I get to work from the comfort of my couch today. In the world of clothes - I have still successfully avoided wearing an actual winter coat, it's still warm enough when I leave work to not need one. Although I did wear my new rain coat from Marshalls this week (once, haha.) I did layer sweaters on top of each outfit though, I'm not trying to get sick! I also wore a couple new-to-me pieces that I snagged while helping Lydia clean her closet. Both are purple, obviously, ha ha. I was also a bad girl and wore leggings as pants, but my sweater was long enough to cover my rear, so I think it's okay. I wasn't feeling good that day and didn't want to wear real clothes.
