Another outfit from my visit to Pennsylvania! I was stupid and wore this to go to Chilis for dinner. I ate basically two rounds of their chips and salsa (my sister had 1/4 of the amount I had if I had to take a guess) followed by my cripsy chicken crispers. Bad day for high waisted jeans!  Before we went to eat we visited this little arboretum and made friends with some ducks.

Lately I've been finding myself throwing jackets over all my outfits even if it's too warm for them. The reason? I'm getting bored with not layering! There's only so many times you can wear a tee or tank without something on top, right?

This is what I wore on Sunday for our family's Labor Day get together. The sweater didn't stay on long but I thought it made the outfit a bit more interesting. One of my uncle's said I looked like the 70s because of my jeans and shoes - which is what I was going for. Unfortunately when I took off the shoes the top part RIPPED from the soles. Sometimes I take my outfit pictures with wet hair. That was the case for these outfit pictures. But what can you do? I don't like to blow dry it so if I take my shower in the morning it is wet most of the day (which is why I usually shower at night.)  I wore this to hang out at my grandma's for the afternoon, it was quite a hot day, Summer definitely doesn't want to leave us, that probably doesn't bode well for Winter. But I don't want to think about that yet.

Last week I was visiting my sister in Pennsylvania. She lives on a golf course with this cute pond! While I spent most of the week in the house working we did have some fun in the evenings and on Wednesday we visited a shopping village and a cave (I promise, it was cool).

I hope everyone in the US is going to enjoy their day off. I imagine I'll be working on a secret project all day (not blog related) but it will still be nice to not have to worry about real work.
