*UncommonGoods sent the necklace featured in this post. All opinions are my own*

Longtime readers will know that I love featuring companies that promote sustainability and support artists.  Today I'm sharing a piece from UncommonGoods. They carry such a wide selection of products that you're sure to find something you love. Most of the products they carry are created in the USA, and about one-third of the entire collection incorporates recycled and/or upcycled materials. Pieces range from dainty to rustic, so there's something for every style. Or, if you're like me, you'll want a bit of everything.

UncommonGoods supports a variety of non-profit organizations from City Harvest (which strives to end hunger in communities throughout New York City through food rescue, distribution, and education) to American Forests (which protects and restores forests worldwide.) With every purchase you make, UncommonGoods donates $1 to the non-profit of your choice. Since starting their Better to Give program 12 years ago, they’ve donated over $700,000 to charities around the world!

How amazing is this Hand Forged Slate and Bronze Necklace? It has a Greek god vibe to it, at least in my weird point of view. It was made in Vermont by mother-daughter design team Tulianna and Alejandra Garces. Finger-shaped stones are collected from the Vermont shoreline and refined into rustic beads. Then hammered-bronze accents are added to the stones for a hint of shimmer.

Blazer: Chanel (Roundabout Resale), Sweater: Roundabout Resale, Jeans: J Brand 'high rise Maria' (Gilt), Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Saks Fifth Avenue), Boots: Vince Camuto (Marshalls), Necklace c/o UncommonGoods

Sometimes all you need is a comfortable pair of jeans and an R2D2 sweater.  I wore this on Sunday to hang around with the family. I probably should have dressed warmer considering the fact that there were some FLURRIES....really hoping we don't have another Halloween blizzard this year. That would not be fun! I like snow in December, after that it can stay away, ha ha.

R2D2 Sweatshirt: Mighty Fine c/o Kohl's (sold out online), Jeans: rag & bone (Shopbop), Boots: Candie's c/o Kohl's

Happy Back to the Future day!!!! Will you be having a marathon of the movies? I was planning on doing that tonight but I'm going to an event with Lydia instead. Luckily I work from home so I can just watch all three during the day while I work. The perks of freelancing!

I intended to wear this sweater with jeans but then decided to mix it up a bit with these pants I've had for at least 10 years. They're a perfect match, don't you think?

Sweater: rag & bone (The Wrld), Pants: Glo (old), Heels: Simply Vera Vera Wang c/o Kohl's

I've had these jeans for 3 and 1/2 years now, insanity! Who would have thought that burgundy leopard print jeans would endure this long? I knew they would for me since burgundy and leopard are two of my favorite things, but they're still selling them online too!

Sweater: Inis Crafts (Marshalls), Jeans: Current/Elliott (Rue La La), Boots: Zigi Soho (DSW), Bag: Etienne Aigner (thrifted)

I bought these boots when I was in New York City a couple weekends ago. I forgot to bring my black boots that went with everything I had brought with me so while my friends were at Comic Con I headed to DSW and found these babies and used a $20 off coupon, my $5 birthday coupon AND the money my mom gave me for my birthday. A purchase made during an emergency, but one I'm sure will get a lot of wear! I only wish they went a liiiittle bit higher, but I can always find another pair that is thigh high.

This is the "classy" version of this outfit. If I want to be a little more risque I can pull up my skirt a bit more. But my dad was taking these pictures so that would have been a bit awkward, don't you think?

Tank: Vince c/o Marshalls, Blazer: Marc by Marc Jacobs (eBay), Skirt: T by Alexander Wang (Net-a-Porter), Boots: Audrey Brooke (DSW)
