Here's a REALLY old one for ya! I found these pants again in my parent's attic and since I still had the sweater too it seemed like a no brainer. While the style of these pants is definitely dated, the color is super on trend.  These pants are from high school, so we're talking 2003 - 2005, I can't remember when I first got them.

Sweater: American Eagle, Pants: Bongo, Boots: No.704b (DSW), Necklace c/o Emitations

The original:
It's reindeer sweater season!! I've worn this at least 3 times this month, so glad I bought it last year! For this particular outfit I decided to go monochromatic and wore it with all gray. To offset the fact that it's not very "holiday" I was brave and did a red lip! It is very rare for me to wear red lipstick but sometimes you have to, right?

Sweater: J.Crew Factory, Jeans: Mother c/o Marshalls, Mouse Flats:  Marc by Marc Jacobs (Shopbop)

Sometimes you just need a little bit of a metallic overload on a boring day. And this outfit is full of metallics - my cute mouse flats, new bag and the shimmer in my sweater. And just like that a simple jeans and sweater outfit is a bit more fun!

Sweater: Marc by Marc Jacobs 'Pyo' (Saks Off 5th), Jeans: FRAME 'Le Skinny de Jeanne Jeans' (Shopbop), Mouse Flats: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Shopbop), Bag: Emm Kuo 'Westbourne Satchel' (Roundabout Resale), Sunglasses: Chanel

I wore this outfit to go see Charles Dickens' great-great grandson perform A Christmas Carol with my sister and her boyfriend.  Gerald did an amazing rendition of the story in just under two hours. I actually laughed out loud a few times, which is rare for me in public settings. I normally try to keep my emotions in check at movies/shows. We also had the chance to meet him earlier in the day at The Historical Christmas Barn in Wilton, CT and he signed illustrated copies of the book.  If you are in the area any time of year definitely check them out, such a great selection of ornaments and decorations.

I have never actually read A Christmas Carol (until this year, reading it now!) but Scrooge with Albert Finney is one of my favorite Christmas movies. In fact, my whole family always sits down to watch it on Christmas Eve Eve (since we have family over on Christmas Eve). One of my favorite traditions! If you haven't seen that movie yet, watch it RIGHT NOW.

Also, I promise I'll stop showing this bag in my outfit pictures! Like I said earlier, it rarely leaves my arm these days!

Blazer: Evan Picone (from Christine), Sweater: Merona (Target), Jeans: Free People, Loafers c/o Joie, Necklace: Etsy, Bag: Emm Kuo 'Westbourne Satchel' (Roundabout Resale),

The weekend before Thanksgiving I went to a little get together Lydia had at her place so of course I took the opportunity to wear this gorgeous suede jacket. I had been saving it for when she could take my outfit pictures because she makes everything look 10x more amazing than it is. The story of me getting this jacket is quite long.  I first saw it in March of this year when we went to a thrift store but I left it. Months later (July) I was still thinking about it so I went back to buy it! Then I had to wait even longer before it was cool enough to wear.

Really looking forward to going full on 70s and wearing this with my Free People flares soon. The color, and the fact that fringe and suede are in, make it a great statement piece for the Winter. Will you be sporting fringe and/or suede this season?

Also - told you this bag hardly left my arm since I bought it! It's been in 3 outfit posts in one week, haha! It seriously goes with everything! That's what I love about statement bags in weird colors, you can wear them with whatever you want.

As usual I had to narrow down from too many awesome pictures thanks to Lydia's talent. I went from 92 to 14...not bad! I was going to break it into 2 posts but figured I would spare you.
