I wore this on a VERY windy day two weekends ago to watch Lydia in a panel at South Moon Under in Westport.  They did a fashion police panel and then answered audience questions about style and breaking into the industry.  After the event we braved the wind for outfit photos and finished off the afternoon with ramen at Mecha Noodle Bar and some shopping at Marshalls where I successfully resisted buying an adorable tank top!

Originally I wasn't too keen on the pairing of my bomber with this shirt dress but in the end I really like the combo! Although, with the wind, I had to keep holding down my dress to avoid a wardrobe malfunction!

Bomber: Cloth & Stone (Marshalls), Dress: Jason Wu (Roundabout Resale), Sandals: Ancient Greek Sandals 'Alethea' (bought in Santorini), Bag: Emm Kuo (Roundabout Resale), Sunglasses: Chanel (bought in Greece)

Another Thursday, another throwback outfit! It has two of my old stand-bys in it: the leather jacket and sandals! Sadly the sandals are falling apart due to their age so I try not to wear them too much now. And I've been neglecting the leather jacket lately too...shame on me!

Top: Winter Kate (Hautelook), Jeans: J Brand c/o Marshalls, Heels: Simply Vera by Vera Wang (Kohl's), Jacket: Theyskens Theory (Nordstrom Rack), Sunglasses: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Shopbop)

The Original:
May the Fourth Be With You!!!! Quick post today to say Happy Star Wars Day!!! Will you be watching any? I am planning on watching The Force Awakens with my adorable Sphero BB-8 because he reacts to the movie! (I've been so busy lately I haven't had a chance to watch with him yet, but I did watch twice since buying the DVD) I'll probably watch the original trilogy too while I work, ahh the perks of working from home!

And now, here are some shots from my photoshoot with Kohl's last September! View more here and behind the scenes here! (light saber glows added by me)

And a cute video of BB!
As many of you know, I am NOT a fan of white jeans (or white anything) but this top was just screaming "wear me with your white jeans that you keep 'just in case'!!!!!!" so I obliged. It seemed fitting to wear these to the Clinton Crossing Discover Spring event last week.

I felt a little like Baby from Dirty Dancing because I wore these jeans un-cuffed. Couldn't find a really good picture but take a look here and here if you have never seen the movie. And if you haven't...watch it RIGHT NOW!

Top: Jason Wu (Roundabout Resale), Jeans: Mother Denim 'The Rascal' Crop c/o Marshalls, Mouse Flats: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Shopbop)

Last week I attended Clinton Crossing's Discover Spring event for the second year in a row! Once again, it did not disappoint! This year Lydia and I brought our Mom's with us to give them a little pre-Mother's Day treat! The event was held in one central location rather than us going to different stores to check out the new offerings like we did last year.  There were also a lot more people this year, which was nice. I got to catch up with Jackie who I haven't seen in over a year! Sadly I was a horrible blogger and hardly took any photos, whoops!

My mom checking out some of the Mother's Day scents!
As part of their Mother's Day promotions, if you spend $50 at Yankee Candle you can get this gift bag + products for $25! (a $100 value!)
Join Sunglass Hut's Sun Perks to save $50 on your next purchase!!
Trying on a really fun pair of Coach sunglasses! Forgot to take a picture of the sides so visit this link to see!
A really pretty dress and necklace combo from Aeropostale (plus some fun shirts and denim!)
These sandals from G.H. Bass & Co. would have perfectly matched my outfit! Sadly I can't find them online.
Kathleen, the marketing director of Clinton Crossing, about to give away some goodies in a raffle (sadly I didn't win!)
Fell in love with the back of this dress and top from Kenneth Cole
Le Creuset was introducing their newest color, Cool Mint. And I loved the little red/pink flower cocottes
Some western style jewelry from Lucky Brand, I love me some turquoise!
Loved this necklace and top combo in the Lucky Brand section!
Normally when I think of Timberland I think of those huge tan boots. I was pleasantly surprised by the offerings they had, especially these fun canvas shoes!
