Last weekend I went on my 6th annual camping trip with my two best friends. I used to go every Summer with my family starting at around 6 years old. Unfortunately we stopped once I was midway through high school (I went a few times after that with my aunt and uncle.) But once I graduated college my two best friends and I started our own tradition of going.

Sadly this year we got rained out. We got up there on Friday and went on a hike, had dinner and went to sleep. We were woken up by rain at 2 in the morning and the tent was leaking. NOOOO! It only rained for a couple hours but the next day/night was supposed to be very rainy so we decided to leave Saturday and finish our weekend at my house. Before leaving Vermont we had to go to Weston and my favorite store - The Vermont Country Store.

Even though the weekend didn't go exactly as planned we still had a great time! Here are some photos. And you are only seeing my hikinh outfit since it was rainy and I didn't want to take outfit pictures the rest of the time, ha ha! How do you like my fanny pack?

We made it to the overlook!
Off on our hike...wearing a super stylish fanny pack

Always need a handstand picture

Roasting marshmallows!
Packing up the car a day and a half early :(

Who doesn't love real maple syrup!?

So so so good!
This was worn on a cooler day after a bit of a heatwave. It was still a bit muggy and gross but I did need the sweater inside because my mom had the AC on.  And yes, my hair is wet in these photos, because sometimes you just need to take photos with wet hair.

The Original:
I wore this a couple weekends ago to go bridesmaid dress shopping for my cousin's wedding next Spring. We found a dress that was really nice and hopefully the other bridesmaids agree! After that we had a 4th of July cookout at Grandma's house so I figured a red, white and blue outfit was very fitting.

Dress: Jones New York (Lord & Taylor), Sandals: Ancient Greek Sandals 'Athena' (Gilt), Sunglasses: Chanel, Belt: Kenneth Cole Reaction (Marshalls)

Sometimes you just want to throw on an outfit and go. This dress lets me do just that because of it's wild and crazy print! I did add a belt just so my waist had some definition but I could do without it too. Add on some simple slides and out the door I go!

Safari Print Dress: thrifted, Sandals: J. Crew Factory

I told you I loved these shorts!! This is what I wore last Sunday to go to the Tanger Outlets with Lydia. We both had a gift card to finish using so we were on a mission! I ended up buying marshmallow roasting sticks, a sifter (for baking) and a black bikini from Old Navy (top & bottom).  I've been wanting a black suit for a quite some time and while this one isn't perfect it will do for now. Gotta love free. Yay gift cards!

After we went shopping I headed home for our early 4th of July celebration with the other side of the family. It was a small gathering and we ordered pizza, but it was a nice low-key evening. Just how I like it!

Top: bought in Santorini, Shorts: Banana Republic (Clinton Crossing), Sandals: Sam Edelman c/o ThredUp, Sunglasses: Chanel, Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Saks Fifth Avenue)
