After a week of sitting on my dresser (because of rain) I was finally able to wear my next sunglasses swap from Ditto! I really love this Prada pair because they're a bit quirky with the double bridge yet classic thanks to the tortoise pattern. If they weren't $385 (minus 15% for being a VIP) I would be very tempted to pay to keep them! But I'll just keep them a couple more weeks and swap for another pair. . I wore this a couple weekends ago to go shopping and have brunch at Terrain with Lydia. I had been here to shop before (during Christmas time!) but had never been to the cafe they have. I had some delicious french toast and Lydia had eggs benedict. After that we perused the store and I ended up buying a super cute pumpkin with succulents for my Mom's birthday. I wanted one for myself too but resisted! It was a pretty dreary day so I was dressed for comfort and in shoes that can get wet. I've had these boots for 3 years now (in brown too) and they're still going strong!

Same jeans, different pair. I loved these jeans so much that I had to track down extra pairs after the first started getting over worn. A little over a year ago I found one exact match and then another very similar pair. If only I had known when I first bought them, should have got 5 pairs! These leopard sandals by Miu Miu are also very loved and celebrating their 5th anniversary next month. This was actually their second ever outfit (the first was for Thanksgiving that year)

Happy Wednesday! I don't usually post today but wanted to share that the Shopbop Event of The Season Sale has started and goes through October 15th!

I turn 28 today. That means I'm officially closer to being 30 than 25. Scary thought! I'm definitely not where I thought I would be in life but I'm enjoying how things are going so far! I get to work from the comfort of my home and travel quite a bit! I never thought I would be going on as many adventures as I have seeing how shy I am. Guess that's what happens when you find friends who can break you out of your shell (sometimes!) Fingers crossed this is my best year yet, but 27 was pretty darn good!
