This is my last London outfit post, so sad! One of my friends and I left a few days before our other friend and we had a few hours in the morning before out flight. We decided to take one last walk to Kensington Palace and caught some Pokemon along the way. What? We had to take advantage of all the extra starter Pokemon they had out for New Years! ;)

Notting Hill is one of my favorite movies so naturally I would want to do a walking tour of the film's locations. Luckily we were staying right around the corner from everything so the walk took like a half hour (including stopping at each place.) I used this tour but we skipped a few of the locations that we had already walked by/didn't want photos of. The most important places were The Travel Book Shop (which is actually two locations, one for the outside, one for the inside), William's blue door and the whoopsie daisies gate! And yes, I have a video of myself recreating that moment.

I wore this on another geeky outing in London. We visited the new Star Wars Identities Exhibit at The O2. It was a really cool experience. It's part prop/exhibition hall and part interactive quiz. You get to create your own Star Wars character and create their personality. After Star Wars we went Westminster Abbey to tour the cathedral and went on the London Eye. I had been on it during the day before but I much preferred it at night! It's so cool seeing the city all lit up.

It wouldn't be London without some rain. Oddly enough this was the first trip where I've experienced a full day of rain. We headed to Oxford in the afternoon to visit Christ Church since some Harry Potter scenes were filmed in the interior. I also experienced Nandos for the first time. Unfortunately I was dumb and got a pita when I should have gotten the burger version (Not a fan of sauces or cole slaw...)

My New Years Eve is normally spent on my couch at home watching movies. This year, however, I was standing in front of Big Ben watching the London fireworks! What an experience! I live an hour and a half from New York City but would NEVER go to those fireworks because you have to camp out all day for a good spot. Luckily for Londoners they've started making the event ticketed to avoid crowds and the need for camping. We did have a bit of a wait (40 minutes) to get into our section, but once we were in there was plenty of space for all.
