After following her for MONTHS and always drooling over the items in her store, and last week I finally won an auction from Twitch Vintage!! I got this great sweater dress for $17 (that's counting shipping).  It is vintage (duh) and from the 70s! I really love the geometric print and the mix of blue and black.  Reminds me of my McQ dress, haha... Here's a quick outfit I came up with for it, you'll probably see it again (or some form of it) next week in my outfit recaps ;)


I am off to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows again at 10:30 am with my sister and brother since they haven't seen it yet.  I can't believe it's been 5 days since I first saw it, this week went by sooo fast! And don't worry, no spoilers will be posted here, unless someone writes them in the comments ;)

This week was so weird...Monday it snowed, Tuesday was gorgeous, Wednesday and Thursday there was more snow...I wonder what today will bring.  Tonight I'm off to my aunts house since we leave for Florida tomorrow (woo!) It's going to be nice to have a break from work, ha ha. But I have a LOT to do today before I leave...

As you're reading this I am either on my way, or already in Jamaica, Vermont camping with my best friends! This is our third annual trip, but I've been going there since I was 7 or 8 years old.  Most people are shocked when I say I love camping, but it's wonderful to sleep out in a tent and have a nice roaring fire each night and morning.  We don't do full on camping as there are tents (and lean-to's - little cabins with one side missing) and there are real bathrooms.

I'm hoping our weekend is full of relaxing, hiking and swimming in the local river.  We'll also make a stop at my favorite store, The Vermont Country Store, it was always one of my favorite parts of our trips when I was younger.  Have a great weekend and keep an eye out on my instagram, I might post some pictures (going to try to keep off my phone though.)

This was a very interesting week, I was barely home (well, my new home). Monday night I went to my parents house because my Aunt and Uncle were staying over because they lost power in the snow storm (they still don't have it). Then I went to my place and watched Casper and Hocus Pocus with my roommate since it was Halloween. Tuesday I went home again after work and my aunt said she and my cousin were going to go to NYC for the day on Wednesday. I was feeling very spur of the moment so I asked my boss if I could take an unplanned day off and, because he is so awesome, he said yes! But I am in the negative for vacation days now...so no more random days off! (except maybe a couple days before Christmas when my cousins from Ohio visit.) So I stayed home Tuesday and Wednesday night and then it was back to business as usual Thursday morning, ha ha. That is a crazy week for me so I need to relax this weekend. (though one of my guy friends will be about an hour away from me on the weekend instead of a couple hours, so I may see him if he asks ;) which I doubt)

I was VERY blabby today, oops!  You guys probably don't really care to know what I do with my boring life outside of fashion, but I like sharing with you anyway.  Here's what I wore this week! My favorite is Monday, it actually came out way nicer than I was picturing it in my head, LOVE when that happens! (I'll have to wear it again and take better outfit pictures...perhaps if I get bored this weekend ;) )
