Yesterday I attended Clinton Crossing's Spring Fashion Preview event up in Clinton, Connecticut.  The event started at Saks Off Fifth where we were greeted by the staff and given our "itinerary" for the evening! Basically we got to stop off at different stores at the premium outlet to see what they have in store for Spring. Lydia and I met up for the event and then we ran into Wendy (and Greg) of Connecticut Lifestyles and Diana of Lady Diana's Pearls and decided to group up for the shopping.
After Saks, our first stop was Designer Fragrances & Cosmetics Co. to see what was new there. We got to pick out a lipstick, I chose L'Absolu Rouge in Berry Noir, and also received a few Kiehl's products. Next up was Club Monaco with a great selection of Spring pieces! I ended up buying a super soft (and nautical) cashmere sweater that buttoned up in the back. After using my $30 gift card from Simon's outlets I only had to pay $20! It was originally $198, then 70% off, an additional 20% off and then my gift card. Talk about a steal!

DKNY was next where we were greeted by Bill, the store's manager, who was super helpful as we shopped their colorful Spring line! He helped me pick out a few pieces and I ended up buying a romper. FINALLY! I've been looking for a romper for 2 years and hadn't been able to find one that flattered me. It was originally $79.50 and was 40% off so I paid $47, not bad. Sadly I can't find it online, but see it below or check out a dress in the same print!
After that we stopped off at Lindt Chocolate for a tasting! We tried their special drinks, I just got a dark chocolate hot chocolate, but both Wendy and Diana got raspberry hot chocolates! Basically, they take their truffles and turn them into hot chocolate, so you can choose any truffle for your drink.

Following that we quickly stopped in at Hanna Andersson, a Swedish inspired children's store full of ADORABLE pieces! If only I had a child to buy them for. There were some super super cute clothes, almost made me want kids right now!

Our penultimate stop was J.Crew Factory and by this point I was trying REALLY hard not to buy anything. Sadly, I found a super cute - and perfectly me - owl print pajama top. They only had larges left but at only $12.50 after discounts I couldn't resist! Lydia bought an anchor pj set, they didn't have the bottoms for mine.
The last stop on our tour was Aeropostale where we were kindly gifted a $50 credit! I bought an elephant print skirt, chevron dress and a printed long sleeve top! Not too shabby for $50. And I have updated my wardrobe recap accordingly since it was the last day of April!

And now, the outfit!

Tee: Everlane, Jacket: Elie Tahari x Kohl's, Jeans: FRAME 'Le Skinny de Jeanne' (Shopbop), Shoes: Miu Miu (eBay), Necklace: from Santorini, Sunglasses: Chanel,  Bag c/o Orox Leather

I'm back from my European Adventure! And just in time for my wardrobe recap! I went on my trip with a list of items I wanted to buy. A "big" item in each place (Paris, London, Greece) and gifts. I ended up not really buying clothes/accessories in London and Paris but made up for it in Greece with some Chanel sunglasses (wanted these, but went for a cheaper pair) and a new pair of Ancient Greek Sandals (the only specific thing on my list)

UPDATE: Added what I bought at Clinton Crossing's Spring Preview event and jeans I forgot to add earlier!

Welcome to my last fashion week recap! I am a huge fan of Rebecca Taylor's dresses, and who doesn't love Chloe? There are too many designers out there to possibly share all my favorites so you'll notice that a lot are missing. I just filled in until I ran out of days. Ha ha.

I love me some knitwear and Pringle of Scotland always makes amazing sweaters, hopefully one day I'll have the budget to buy something!
