I've had this dress for almost 4 years and this is the first time I've worn it unbuttoned. I have no idea why I never did it before because it looks so much better this way! It's a little frumpy when I wear it buttoned because its looser up top. I love that this dress looks like three pieces even though it's only one., Makes it so easy to wear, just throw on a fun pair of shoes and you're good to go.

Dress: DKNY (Net-a-Porter), Over-the-Knee Boots: Audrey Brooke 'Mirie' (DSW)

Happy Thursday! Not really much to say about this outfit. I wore it on a particularly cloudy day so the bright red sweater made the day a little happier.

Sweater: Madewell (Shopbop), Skirt: Old Navy, Booties: No.704b. (DSW)

The Original:
A couple weekends ago I went to visit my best friend from college and we went apple picking at Johnny Appleseed Farm in Ellington! It was the first day where it really felt like Fall so I had to layer with a vest!  It's always so much fun catching up with friends after being apart for a while.

Vest: Ella Moss (Marshalls), Sweater: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Saks Off Fifth), Jeans: FRAME 'Le Skinny de Jeanne' (Shopbop), Flats: Chanel (eBay), Sunglasses Ray Ban Aviator via Ditto Endless Eyewear [Use code CLOSETFASHIONENDLESSDITTO for your first month free]

Once again I'm able to wear a weird combo thanks to the Fall weather. Sweater on top, shorts on bottom! Woohoo! I was struggling between two pairs of shoes, but in the end my Lanvin sandals won out...they're my closet obsession of the past couple months if you couldn't tell.

I also love the cut of this sweater. The deep-v is a nice change from my usual crewnecks. But that does mean it will be harder to wear once the temperatures drop below freezing. Won't stop me from trying though!

Sweater: Abercombie & Fitch, Shorts: Banana Republic, Suede Sandals: Lanvin (Net-a-Porter), Necklace: Geoclassics

Here was my other shoe option. These Alexander Wang booties are approaching their 6th birthday! Can't believe I've had them that long!

This month I had a big chunk of advertising (and side hustle) money burning a hole in my pocket. I used a LOT of self control and only made one purchase with it - an order from Abercrombie during their Labor Day sale. I'm hoping to save the rest of it to pay for my portion of an airbnb for London this New Years! But who knows, something crazy may catch my eye and I'll be badddddd.
