I may have gone a little overboard with the blue in this outfit. But I finished it off with a crazy green sweater so an overdoes of blue is the least of my worries. These new jeans are SO comfortable. It's like I'm wearing sweatpants, except they're high waisted so sitting for long periods can get a little uncomfortable. But they're super soft and thin.

Suede Jacket: Ralph Lauren (Marshalls) Sweater: French Connection c/o Marshalls, Jeans: J Brand Maria High Rise (The RealReal), Boots: Candies c/o Kohl's

After a bit of a break, here's the second outfit from when I visited my sister a couple weekends ago (first here.) I had my dad take these photos really quick so I didn't do my usual check and my necklace is a bit screwy! And we weren't paying attention to the sun so the sweater is 2 different colors, haha! The price we pay for rushing.

Sweater: Abercombie & Fitch, Jeans: Free People 'Jax' patched skinny, Flats: Burberry Prorsum (net-a-porter), Necklace: BijouLimon (etsy), Bag: Emm Kuo (Roundabout Resale), Sunglasses: Prada via Ditto Endless Eyewear

I looooove this sweater! It's actually about 2 sizes too big but that just makes it more cozy! It's one of my better Net-a-Porter sale buys. Some of the pieces I've gotten over the years don't get that much wear, this one gets tons!

Unfortunately these jeans are on their way out, luckily the new J Brand jeans I got last month are the same color, they're just high waisted! Now I don't have to worry about replacing them once they really go out. They're just getting a bit loose and ratty in certain spots but should still be good for at least a year, ha ha.

Sweater: Burberry Brit (Net-a-Porter), Jeans: rag & bone (Shopbop), Boots: Eighteen68 'Megan' (Gilt)

The Original:
October was my birthday month and while I normally allow myself to buy an "extravagant" piece of clothing I refrained this year. I did get an Equipment cheetah print blouse I've wanted since it was debuted last year. It's quite hard to find but I spotted one on eBay in a size larger than I usually wear and pounced (pardon the pun.) I used advertising money so it was "free."

And, of course, I wrote this post too early and ended up buying something else. The Outnet's Fall sale started before the month was over and while I was looking for pieces for a post I fell in love with a crazy embellished sweater! I still had birthday money hanging around (after buying my Mickey phone and suitcase) so I used that to buy it. Thanks Mom & Dad!

I also got a pair of brand new J Brand jeans for FREE thanks to a store credit to The RealReal. It was a thank you for doing a survey, so I paid with about 20 minutes of my time. Definitely a fair trade (or unfair from their end.)

Technically I spent $0 this month since I used advertising and birthday money.  I do love loopholes!

Happy Halloween everyone!!!! I hope you all have more exciting plans than me. I'll just be having a Halloween movie marathon by myself. Casper, Hocus Pocus, Halloweentown, Teen Witch and more! Even though I'm not going out I put together a super quick pumpkin costume instead of sharing my Willy Wonka for the 3rd year, haha.
