These shorts are an anomaly in my closet.  I don't normally wear white but for some reason I was drawn to these shorts in a Zara sale years ago. Maybe it's the purple and blue flowers? I also feel extra tall when wearing them with these wedges. You'd never guess I was 5'2", right?

The second I walked into my parents house in this outfit my mom looked at me, laughed and said "Nice outfit!" I said "This is actually my outfit, Mom. It's the cool thing to do" Apparently she thought I just wore jeans to the house and was going to take them off.  I had originally planned on wearing this dress with my J Brand skinny jeans and heels. Then I bought these Sam Edelman espadrilles in Net-a-Porter's sale and thought they would go perfectly with the dress. Then I added in the lighter jeans for a Summery vibe!

Here are a few (better) examples of how to wear this trend thanks to Net-a-Porter's stylists.
Here's a super old throwback for you! 7 years ago! I do still have the shoes I wore in this outfit but they aren't stylish AT ALL so I switched it up! I can't believe I've had this dress for over 7 years. It's going to be a sad day when it's too beat up to be worn. Maybe I should try and find it on eBay!

I wore this on the 4th of July in Tennessee but never got around to taking photos of it so I decided to wear it again and take pictures! I don't wear this romper often, but it's such a fun piece!

Have you tried out rompers yet or are you still resisting because you think they aren't flattering? I think that if you find a style of romper that works for you, whether it be printed romper (my DKNY romper is also printed) or one with an long sleeves you will be converted! I had to try a ton of rompers before I found one that I liked. Mixology has an amazing selection of rompers, many on sale! Luckily for you, I have a $25 gift card to help you get started on your romper obsession!

My mom bought this skirt for herself a few years ago on super clearance at Lord and Taylor. When she was done with it she passed it on to me. This is actually the first time I've worn it.  It gets wrinkly a bit too easily and its kind of short too, ha ha. It doesn't look short in the photos, but for some reason it feels short.

I wanted to wear these shoes the moment I bought them! So the next day I decided to pair them with my Carven skirt and a matching Zara tee. I think it's a pretty good combination BUT I just don't like the look of this skirt when I wear it in flats. I think it looks so much better with heels.

Here's my last post from Nashville. The convention center had an Alice and Wonderland theme. It was very cool, huge flowers and other Alice-looking pieces all throughout the property. they even had characters walking around like at Disney. I just had to take photos with some of the huge lighted flowers. I had wanted to wear this combination for a few months but had to wait for it to be warm enough for such little clothing.
