Happy Friday!!! I hope everyone had a good week! I'm super nervous today because I'm hosting a styling event at the Banana Republic at Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets this afternoon. I've never done anything like this because I'm so shy, so wish me luck!

Zebra Dress: Splendid (Net-a-Porter), Mules: BCBGeneration 'Beverly' (Saks Off 5th at Clinton Crossing)

I'm starting to run out of cute Summer looks to throw back to! Might have to start going back to 2014 and 2013 instead of trying to keep them a lot older. Hopefully I can still keep up this feature for another year, it's so fun to re-wear old outfits! This is another that is almost all original, I just don't have the tank top anymore.

Cardigan: Kohl's, Cashmere Sweater: Paolo Rodesco (Roundabout Resale), Skirt: American Eagle, Wedges: Madden Girl (DSW)

Welcome my Proenza Schouler tweed colorblock shorts to the blog!!! If you saw my monthly wardrobe update you will have heard this story already, but for those that haven't: I posted these shorts on the blog back in June 2011 as one of my favorite looks from the 2012 Resort show! A couple of weekends ago I went to Roundabout's end of season sale with Lydia and on a second look through the store I spotted these shorts peeking out and recognized them immediately.

I didn't think they were going to fit but tried them on and they fit like a glove! At "only" $57 I had to take them home. That may seem like a lot for shorts, BUT they are tweed, trimmed in leather and made in the USA. Plus, they retailed for $1600, insanity!

Knit Tank: Made by Grandma, Shorts: Proenza Schouler (Roundabout), Mules: BCBGeneration 'Beverly' (Saks Off Fifth at Clinton Crossing)

This is an exercise in how to wear red and green without looking like Christmas exploded on you. It helps that it's Summer so the pieces are skimpier. But making one of the pieces a print with other colors helps to remove Christmas from the equation.

Top: Mexx (Coco's $10 sale), Shorts: Banana Republic (Clinton Crossing), Sandals: Seychelles (DSW)

Another look wearing my Who What Wear dress as more of a kimono or jacket. This time I paired it with shorts instead of jeans. Rather than wearing a regular shirt I chose a bodysuit. This way, if I happened to have a more formal event in the evening, I could take off the shorts and button the dress back up. Voila, an easy day to night look! I should have taken photos of the "night look" but I didn't. Whoops. Just imagine the dress is buttoned. ;)

I wore this for a morning of hanging out with Lydia. We started off with brunch at Terrain, the home and garden version of Anthropologie. They have a farm to table restaurant within the store. After that we headed to a launch party for Darphin Paris cosmetics at Anthroplogie followed by a quick trip to Roundabout to check out their clearance sale.

Floral Dress: Who What Wear x Target, Bodysuit: Who What Wear Collection (Target), Shoes: Nicholas Kirkwood suede Prism pumps (NET-A-PORTER, also here and here), Bag: Chanel 2.55 Double Flap (Madison Avenue Couture), Rings: Noir Jewelry (The Outnet)

I wore this outfit almost exactly 7 years ago.  I still had 3 of the 4 original pieces, which is pretty darn good! This blazer is thick but surprisingly cool which made it perfect for when I was working in an office during the Summer. Obviously I don't go into an office anymore but it is still a wearable look for out of the office.

Jacket: Jones New York (Burlington), Tank Top: American Eagle, Jeans: FRAME 'Le Skinny de Jeanne' (Shopbop), Wedges: Simply Vera by Vera Wang (Kohl's)

The Original:
As a continuation from last week, here's more white!  This time my crazy Zara shorts that I usually wear super high up on my waist. Otherwise they go down to my knees which isn't a very flattering look. I wore this when the temperatures finally started to go back up again, woohoo! We've had such a weird Summer with not too many super hot days.

Top: Highline Collective (Lord & Taylor),  Shorts: Zara, Mules: BCBGeneration 'Beverly' (Saks Off 5th at Clinton Crossing)
