*oNecklace gifted the piece featured in this post, but all opinions are my own.

Do you and your significant other have a couple you identify with? For me and my husband (yep, we got married over the weekend!) it's Wall-E and Eve. It was the first movie we watched together, and technically our first date so now we buy all things Wall-E & Eve!

We're still in wedding season, and what's better than a personalized piece of jewelry for your loved ones as a special gift.  Recently oNecklace got in touch with me to check out their offerings. oNecklace offers personalized jewelry in 14K gold, sterling silver and even rose gold.  I decided to choose something from their ample selection of couples jewelry!

I chose the two heart necklace and put both our names and birthstones on it so it's completely unique to us!  It's such a cute piece and simple enough that I can wear it with any outfit. The only thing is it's a bit hard to read Christian's name because of the font, but mine looks perfect!  I got the 16 inch chain so it wouldn't hang so low but you can go from 14 to 22 inches on your chain.

I've been slacking on blog pictures lately thanks to either killer heat or rainy days. This Summer has definitely been difficult for blogging.  Luckily we had a stretch of good weather so I was able to get a few outfits shot for this week and next.

I've been meaning to wear this sweater for a while but the weather never seemed to cooperate. I was originally going to wear it with pants but decided to go for shorts instead since it's still pretty warm. I don't think these shorts have appeared much on the blog this Summer but they still remain one of my most worn pieces on super hot days. (Excuse the wrinkles in the shorts, I had been sitting a lot, haha!)

Turtleneck Tank: Highline Collective (Lord & Taylor),  Shorts: Banana Republic (Clinton Crossing), Slip-On Sandals: BCBGeneration 'Yerra' Slip-on Sneaker (DSW), Sunglasses: Gucci, Eyeglasses chain: Tinksky (Amazon)

A quick post for a look I wore to my Grandma's last weekend. I've worn this shirt a few times this year but hadn't taken outfit photos in it yet. Whoops! I seem to be doing that a lot lately this year.  OH well, at least it's not something new. It's been in my closet for about 5 years now, I think. I got it for $10 in a special sale at Coco's on the Green when one of their locations was closing.

My Dad took these for me super quick and I didn't check them because he usually takes perfect pictures. (He was my photographer before the fiancé came along.) I didn't want to re-shoot by the time I realized they were blurry, so enjoy my laziness...WHOOPS

In case you didn't notice...I got my hair cut! Both the fiancé and I went to get our hair cleaned up last Wednesday to prepare for our big day. We were originally supposed to get it cut the Thursday before that but there was a bit of a problem.

Our appointments were for 3pm, we showed up at the salon and the doors were locked. We went back to the car and tried to call, no answer. A few minutes later an old lady walked to the salon and got in so we quickly ran in and followed her. Turns out the place SHUT DOWN and they didn't bother to call people that had appointments. So we tracked down the girl that does our hair and found her new salon and made new appointments. What a production!

I get my haircut about once a year, I think my last cut was in June or July of 2017. I just hate paying for haircuts since I don't do much with my hair so I just let it grow out and then chop it off and start the process again, haha!

Summer is coming to an end in a few weeks so I'm trying to soak up all the Summer I can before it does! That is, when the temperature decides to cooperate so I can be outside for more than 5 minutes without melting!

Tee: Marc by Marc Jacobs snake print, Jeans: M.I.H. Jeans 'The TOMBOY' (Net-a-Porter), Sandals: Sam Edelman 'Ginnie' c/o ThredUp, Mini Leather Owl Bag: gift from my sister, Sunglasses: Gucci

I've been wanting to re-wear this outfit for weeks but it's been too darn hot! Then on Saturday we had a day with a bit of a chill to it so I was able to wear it! Wearing this cardigan doesn't add all that much weight to my look but lately I haven't even been wanting to wear t-shirts so this was out of the question. Obviously the sweater didn't stay on all day but I did keep popping it on when I got a bit chilly and needed a bit more than the thin silk dress.

What I love about this outfit is the dress and cardigan are the same length so it creates a nice streamlined look.  I also wish I could wear these sandals more often but they're very old and starting to come apart in certain spots so I don't wear them as often as I used to. They were a weekly or bi-weekly wear back in the day!

Metallic Cardigan: LAUREN by Ralph Lauren (Lord & Taylor), Leopard Print Dress: Rebecca Taylor (Roundabout Resale), Sandals: Simply Vera by Vera Wang (Kohl's), Necklace: Azaggi Jewelry Round Crescent Moon, Sunglasses: Chanel, Bag: Chanel Classic 2.55 Double Flap (Madison Avenue Couture)
