Sometimes it's just too windy/freezing to take photos outside. On this day Christian and I went to the park for a Pokemon Community Day (yes, we're nerds, we don't care.) and it was super windy and cold. We spent a lot of the time just sitting in the car to escape. We did manage to get a couple things we were hunting for but man was it brutal! Instead of taking photos at the park like we usually do we decided to stay warm and take them in front of my parents fireplace. The lighting wasn't the best so the photos are a bit wonky, but what can you do.

P.S. I love this sweatshirt. It's actually from the kid's section. When Kristen and I went to Disney for my birthday last month we wanted to get a cute Toy Story related clothing item since that part of the park recently opened. Unfortunately the adult options weren't all that cute and they were so expensive - $35 for a t-shirt. This sweatshirt on the other hand, was $30 in the kids section but we got ours for $25 after our Annual Passholder discount. So pro-tip: if you are a Small or Medium in tops you can buy a Large kids sweatshirt and Disney for half the price of adult clothes.

Sweatshirt: Toy Story Aliens (Disney World), Jeans: Everlane 'Mid-Rise Skinny Jean' in Black, Slip-On Sneakers: BCBGeneration 'Yerra' Slip-on Sneaker (DSW), Bag: Chanel Classic 2.55 Double Flap (Madison Avenue Couture)

The second blazer on the blog in a week! I feel like it's 3 years ago when I wore my blazers all the time. It feels nice to be breaking them out again. Rather than just wearing my sweaters and a coat I've been trying to throw o a blazer instead. This is one of my favorite deals - a Brooks Brothers blazer for only $40, and I bought it new with tags, it retailed for $750! The last time I wore it was in March for Jury Duty, haha! This time it was just a walk in the park and dinner at my parents.

I've also been wearing these boots a lot lately, should probably give them a break and wear one of my MANY other pairs of boots, ha ha! This top, however, hasn't been seen on the blog since I was in London for New Years in 2017, oops! Definitely need to bring it back for more outfit photos (I have worn it since that post)

Blazer: Brooks Brothers (Roundabout), Sweater: Marc by Marc Jacobs "Pyo" Striped Sweater (Saks Off Fifth, also here), Jeans: Everlane high-rise skinny jean in mid-blue, Boots: Cordani (Roundabout), Bag: Dark Purple Chloé Faye (eBay), Sunglasses: Chanel

We're a week away from Thanksgiving so I thought for today's throwback outfit I'd do a roundup of things you can wear for a Thanksgiving celebration! I already have one of my Thanksgiving looks planned, still need one more because we do Thanksgiving at my Grandma's for my Mom's side of the family and then at my Aunts on the weekend for my Dad's side.

For me it's all about darker hues, burgundy, black, navy, rust. Anything that feels like Fall! What's nice is you can dress up pants with a blouse, or wear some cashmere to tone them down a bit and make it more cozy. Or you can wear a wrap dress with a vest and heeled boots. Anything goes!

We didn't see much in the way of colorful trees this year. There was about a week where we were able to enjoy all the red, orange and yellow leaves but as quick as they came they all dropped to the ground. Always so sad! But there are still a few leaves hanging on in some areas so I'll enjoy it while I can. Autumn is my favorite season, probably because I'm an October baby. The smells, the colors, the Fall treats! I wish it would last all year.

Blazer: PBM Women's/Nordstrom (Coco's $10 Sale),  Sweater: Everlane, Boots: Cordani (Roundabout), Jeans: J Brand 'Maria' High Rise in Supreme (Gilt Groupe),  Bag: Dark Purple Chloé Faye (eBay), Sunglasses: Gucci, Eyeglasses chain: Tinksky (Amazon)

*Onecklace gifted the piece featured in this post, but all opinions are my own.

Now that we're nearing the middle of November, it's time to start thinking more seriously about holiday gifts! For those ladies on your list that are hard to shop for, I recommend checking out the specialty jewelry at oNecklace. The snowflake necklace I'm wearing here is the perfect gift for someone who is particular about their jewelry and wants a more custom piece without it needing to be engraved with their name or their birthstone on it; which oNecklace also offers! See some posts of me wearing their name and birthstone jewelry here and here.

You're able to choose your metal, chain length, chain style and clasp! For my snowflake necklace I chose rose gold plating, 20 inch ROLO chain and a lobster clasp. I'm a huge fan of lobster clasps because they're far easier than those pesky spring clasps most necklaces come with. The necklace is nice and thin and I love the detailing of the snowflake's crystals.

I've been blog neglecting this cardigan a bit over the last year or so. I got it in January 2015 and wore it CONSTANTLY, it became my default airplane outfit and I loved wearing it. But I guess I thought I wore it too much and stopped wearing it as much. It hasn't been on the blog since last November (in a similar outfit) but I've worn it at least a few times in the past year, I swear!

Cardigan: DKNY Oversized striped knitted cardigan (Net-a-Porter Sale), Cashmere Turtleneck: Vince (Marshalls), Jeans: Everlane high-rise skinny jean in mid-blue, Ankle Boots: Candie's c/o Kohl's (also here),  Bag: Etienne Aigner (thrifted), Snowflake Necklace c/o oNecklace
