For those of you that don't pay attention to every single detail of my blog and Instagram posts, aka everyone ;), it is important to note the significance of Wall-E in my life.  It is the first movie Christian and I watched together and was technically our first date.  We watched it while at a Game of Thrones convention his brother was running.

Since then, Wall-E has cemented itself as one of my favorite Pixar movies - it was already in my top. So now, Wall-E and Eve represent our relationship - see our Wall-E shelf (which is missing a few pieces that were in another room in the house that I've since relocated here.) When I went to Disney back in May I just had to get this cute necklace so I could always have Wall-E/Christian with me.

For some weird reason this is the first time this sweater is appearing on the blog this season. I've worn it at least 6 times since the start of Fall so not sure how that happened!

Sweater: Everlane Wool-Cashmere Oversized Cable Turtleneck, Snakeskin Texture Jeans: Jolt (Marshalls), Flats c/o Joie 'Dylan' leopard loafer, Wall-E Necklace: Disney World, Sunglasses: Chanel, Bag: Louis Vuitton Epi Leather Sac D'Epaule (HauteTrader)

As we all know, I'm a huge fan of muted jewel tones so this Marc Jacobs sweater is still one of my favorites and will continue to be for quite a while.  For this weekend look I decided to style it with all gray (minus the shoes.)

Winter seems to really be hanging on hard, we had a few snow storms in the last week with more on the way. At least some of the snow was good enough to make a snowman with, so Christian and I made our first snowman (as you saw last week.) Today is actually the 1 year anniversary of him driving 20 hours from Missouri to come live with me. My how time flies! Now we're married homeowners, WEIRD!

Boyfriend Cardigan: 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target, Sweater: Marc by Marc Jacobs "Pyo" Striped Sweater (Saks Off Fifth, similar), Jeans: Free People 'Jax' patched skinny, Ballet Flats: Chanel 'Cap Toe Ballet Flat' (eBay), Sunglasses: Chanel

A simple, yet fun look thanks to my embellished sweater. Just don't hug me while I'm wearing it or you may get stabbed! Unfortunately I'm not completely happy with how this look photographed. The velvet jeans don't look good with the ankle boots. I think I need to wear them with either regular flats or heels, but not flat boots.

Sweater: Banjo + Matilda Trinket Embellished Stripe Sweater (The Outnet), Velvet Jeans: J.Crew, Boots: Vince Camuto 'Davilla' (Marshalls)

We have had a lot of snow the past few days. On Saturday it was good enough to make a snowman with so Christian and I spent our morning making a cute snowman. Unfortunately we had a less fun storm Sunday night that gave us more snow to shovel. It was super heavy so I ended up straining my shoulder while doing our driveway. UGH!

Cardigan: Lauren Ralph Lauren (GoodWill), Sweater: Everlane Cashmere Crew, Jeans: J Brand 'Mid Rise Photo Ready Super Skinny Jean' (Gilt), Boots: Vintage Snowland Moccasin Ankle Boots (from Grandma), Sunglasses: Gucci

I almost made it through the month without buying any clothes. But then Roundabout sent an email yesterday morning about their winter blowout. 80% off clothes and shoes!! AHH! So I went hoping I wouldn't find anything and I walked out with 3 jackets...whoops!

One is a white blazer which normally isn't my style, because I'm afraid of getting white dirty, but I was drawn to it so now I have to be brave and wear white! Next up is a Sandro Paris burgundy blazer. I've been wanting something from Sandro for quite a few years but could never pull the trigger on anything because they're so pricey. Last is a purple Rag & Bone wool jacket with leather details. I liked it because it's like a blazer but since it's knit that makes it a little more casual.

I'm hoping to get back on track with my no shopping next month, but we'll see! You know I can never pass up an amazing deal if I see one. And I have a $15 credit for The RealReal expiring....

Colors are off a bit in these photos but I took them last night so the lighting wasn't the best. The perils of buying something the day before my wardrobe update is posted!

Last week I played hooky for the day and drove up to my friend's house in Massachusetts. From there we, along with a friend visiting from Australia, drove up to New Hampshire to visit the Ice Castles! I had never been so I was pretty excited. Unfortunately none of us were dressed warmly enough despite our layers. We stayed for 10 minutes before our toes started to freeze, ha ha! But it was so worth it even for that short amount of time. Who doesn't love an adventure?

P.S. I FINALLY found the brand that makes these boots my Grandmother gave me from YEARS ago.  I linked a bunch below. Debating buying myself another pair for when these fall apart because I wear them so often in Winter.

Sweater: Inis Crafts (Marshalls), Jeans: Current/Elliott (The Outnet), Boots: Vintage Snowland Moccasin Ankle Boots (from Grandma), Scarf: Madewell Houndstooth Patchwork Scarf, Faux Fur Leopard Coat: Sisters - vest version (Marshalls), Bag: Etienne Aigner (thrifted)

Told you you'd be seeing this Autumn Cashmere landscape sweater again soon! I wish I could wear it every day, but that would be a little much don't you think? This time I wore it with my patchwork boots because the colors all match. Might be a little odd but I think it's fun! Also decided to use my fun orange Louis Vuitton bag to pull out the orange in the sweater.

Sweater: Autumn Cashmere Landscape Intarsia Sweater, Jeans: Everlane high-rise skinny jean in mid-blue, Bag: Louis Vuitton Epi Leather Sac D'Epaule (HauteTrader), Boots: IMPO Patchwork Suede Boot (DSW), Sunglasses: Chanel

We had quite the snow storm last week. It wasn't a lot of snow but it really affected the roads. Christian got to leave work early because of the conditions and it took him an hour to get home when it should only take a half hour. I was left to shovel the snow on the driveway and sidewalk before he got home. I also did it again the next morning to get the remainder.  This is my snow day sweater, it keeps me warm and cozy while I shovel. And the best part? It was $1 at a thrift store.

Tissue Turtleneck: J.Crew, Sweater: thrifted, Jeans: Everlane Mid-Rise Ankle Jean, Boots: Grandma's, Sunglasses: Chanel
