The 30-Day Harry Potter Challenge: Day 3 - Is there any of the films adaptations that have made you angry because they’ve ignored important parts of the book

There are a few parts of the movies I'm pretty upset about, here we go:
  • Prisoner of Azkaban - Telling who the Mauraders were, that's important!
  • Goblet of Fire - The correct 3rd task...I don't like how they did it
  • Order of the Phoenix - I wish they had the whole Snape's memory scene, that's one of my favorite parts
  • Half-Blood Prince - I wish they showed more of Tom Riddle's past
And some other stuff but those are the major ones :p

  1. oh my god, i completely agree. the prisoner of azkaban movie had a cool feel to it, but how could they leave out telling about the marauders??? it would have made the movie only five minutes longer! not even.

and i agree with your other points as well!

  2. You're a hard one to please! I disliked the Prisoner of Azkaban movie for creating a ridiculous digital werwolf-esque-thing, when they could have just used a real wolf and it would have been far more realistic. Also I thought Gary Oldman was miscast as Sirius.

When I first saw Goblet of Fire I remember thinking it was quite good, but tried watching it with my sisters again this year and we ended up turning it off.
