{outfit} Episode VII

Happy Star Wars: Episode VII, The Force Awakens release day! I'm a horrible fan and I didn't go to a midnight showing, nor am I going today. But I have two excuses. 1. I hate crowds, so opening weekend is bad enough and 2. I'm going with my Dad, sister and brothers since we saw episodes 1, 2 and 3 together in theaters. So we have to find a day that worked for everyone. We are going tomorrow morning at 11:20am!

But, in celebration, here's a Star Wars themed outfit! Empire Strikes Back is probably my favorite of the movies, so this shirt I got from my Kohl's Star Wars Photoshoot is perfect for me. I can never fully decide, it's like choosing between children. I'll be wearing my R2D2 sweatshirt when we go see the movie.

  1. The Empire Strikes back is one of my faves! I never really got into Episodes 1-3, but I'd still like to see the new one!

  2. Such a great shirt - I love the retro vibe to it (also, I think I might be the only person on earth who's not super excited about Star Wars!).

  3. I still have never seen anything Star Wars related (I live under a rock haha)... Anyway I love how you added some edge to the outfit with the over the knee boots.

  4. That is a fun tee! :) I remember watching the first few movies over and over as a kid, but wasn't really that into them as I grew. I'm surprised my Dad didn't go to a midnight showing, haha! He loves the movies.

Hope you enjoy the movie after seeing it tomorrow! :)

  5. I don't think I've ever been to a midnight showing... I'm more of a 1 pm monday afternoon only person in the theater kinda movie goer. But the outfit is the perfect amount of fan girl and chic and I'm glad the movie lived up to all the hype.
