I bought these patchwork boots for a STEAL ($12) back in May and was so excited to finally wear them. I thought since they had multiple colors they'd be easy to style but when I went to pair them with pieces I found myself stumped for something stylish. I could have just worn them with a basic sweater, but for their first outing I wanted something more fun. In the end I went with my Zara crop top to bring out all the colors of the boots and finished it off with my soft purple cape.

Cashmere Cape: b chyll - similar (Roundabout), Crop Top: Zara (similar), Jeans: J Brand 'Maria' High Rise in Supreme (Gilt Groupe), Patchwork Boots: Impo 'Omega' (DSW), Bag: Emm Kuo 'Calle Bahia' (Roundabout Resale), Sunglasses: Chanel

I finally got to wear this cashmere sweater I bought back in July for a mere $25. Gotta love end of season sales, right?! This has been such an odd, warm Fall season. I didn't even need to wear a sweater on this particular day but I wore it anyway because it was the end of October.

Striped Cashmere Sweater: Alice + Olivia (Roundabout), Jeans: IRO "Faxy Cropped Jean" (Gilt c/o Wikibuy), Bucket Bag: Tommy Hilfiger (Clinton Crossing), Mouse Flats: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Shopbop)

I wore this last weekend for a trip to Terrain and Home Goods with my parents. Since there werne't many people shopping outside when we arrived I decided to have my Dad take some outfit pictures. We took some by more flowers & trees but the sun kind of messed with those shots, so these will have to do.

I'm so glad I was finally able to wear this sweater I bought in Net-a-Porter's July sale. It's a wool and cashmere blend so its suuuuuper soft! And I love the ribbed style, it's different sizes throughout.

Sweater: FRAME (Net-a-Porter), Pants: Blank NYC 'Persuede' (South Moon Under), Floral Mules: Kelly & Katie "Amour" (DSW), Bag: ChloƩ Faye (eBay), Sunglasses: Gucci (bought in Italy), Eyeglasses chain: Tinksky (Amazon)

Another almost complete recreation for this throwback. The tee and heels have left my closet so I substituted my new light pink Everlane tee for the brighter (not really me) pink tee and some brown Prada sandals. Originally I was going to wear my black Dolce & Gabanna mary janes to recreate the look closer but, since I actually have brown heels now, I decided to match the pants.

Tee: Everlane, Sweater: Ami Dans La Rue (Shopbop), Jeans: Jolt (Marshalls), Belt: from Jason Wu for Target dress, Caged Sandals: Prada (The RealReal), Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs 'Ozzie Square Baby Aiden' (Shopbop)

The Original:
Happy Halloween from Willy Wonka and myself! (still reusing the same photos from this post because I never go anywhere, haha. One day I'll actually wear this to a party.)

October is my birthday month and I usually allow myself to splurge a little more than usual. But this month I attempted to curb that spending in favor of saving more for future travels. As usual things never go as planned! I got a $20 off of $40 for Lord & Taylor so I bought a super fun burnt orange sweater. I'm treating it as a wash because I cancelled my Renters Insurance (since I'm back home) and got a credit back for that. So it became "fun money," haha.

THEN Everlane had to come out with some $100 cashmere sweaters so naturally I took advantage of that and got a tee as well to get free shipping. I'm calling this cost $62 because I used the leftover credit mentioned above.  I also took advantage of my HautePoints and a free trade code (FALLFASHIONS17) on HauteTrader to get a BEAUTIFUL Louis Vuitton bag. Check out my review of the site, you'll also find another code for a free trade.

It was also my birthday this month and my parents bought me 2 fun pairs of shoes! AKA I picked them out a few months before and "forgot" my mom bought them.

I bought this sweater with a Pearls & Plaid gift card I won from the Connecticut Bloggers brunch back in August. The fit is a little strange since the shoulder area is tight and the rest is a looser fit, but I really like this shade of green and I don't have anything else this color in my closet! It's worn here with another new closet addition - floral mules from my Mom for my birthday!

Floral Embroidered Sweater: Vintage Havana (Pearls & Plaid), Jeans: J Brand 'Maria' High Rise in Supreme (Gilt Groupe) Floral Mules: Kelly & Katie "Amour" (DSW) Necklace: Madewell, Naomi Double Ring c/o Kendra Scott, Bag: ChloƩ Faye (eBay)
