Here's my August wardrobe addition in action! For it's first outing I wanted it to be the star so I opted for a pretty basic outfit. This obviously won't be an everyday bag for me because 1) I don't want to ruin it by wearing it all the time and 2) I don't have to carry that much with me on a day to day basis.

It will be perfect for when I go to Disney and want to have everything I'll need with me. A sweater, an umbrella, a charger for my phone, etc. It could even hold snacks and my purchases throughout the day. Most of the time it will sit with my Disney collectibles so I can admire it.

I love how well it goes with my matching Mickey earrings and ring. I'm such a Disney addict! And I don't care one bit if people think that's weird. °o°

I bought 1 thing this month but it's something I've wanted for over a year now. I originally saw this Dooney and Bourke 2017 Disney Shopper Tote when I went to Disney in June 2017 but resisted buying because it was $268 and I "didn't need it that bad even though it's my favorite color and has Sorcerer Mickey (my fav) all over it." Fast forward months and months and I couldn't stop thinking about it. Thus the eBay search began. It was a special bag only available in 2017 so it's pretty hard to find for under it's original retail price. Luckily I found this one for $200 and I had recently gotten a small work bonus and had some ad money in PayPal so I hit Bid and crossed my fingers! This baby is definitely coming with my on my birthday trip to Disney in October! Sadly it will be my last Disney trip for a while because my Annual Pass expires in December and I have a mortgage to worry about and a honeymoon to save up for.

For some reason whenever I wear these pants I feel like wearing other animal prints. In this case the cheetah print blouse from Equipment and 'croc effect' sandals from Ancient Greek Sandals. This was worn on a day where the temperature dropped just enough for me to be able to wear pants. I've been getting a little tired of the heat and only being able to wear shorts so it was a nice change. But this shirt and sandals still kept me airy and cool. Any look is made better with a leather handbag, so that’s how I finished off my look.

Worn last week to the local farmers market to buy the best pesto ever. It's $8 but oh so worth it! We made chicken and pesto pizza with it and still have a bit left for bread! We decided to take photos along our walking path where the sidewalk is enveloped by branches and leaves. It's like going through a tunnel!

Tee: Everlane 'Cotton Box-Cut Pocket Tee', Printed Pants: Sea New York (The Outnet), Sandals: Ancient Greek Sandals 'Astrapi' (Net-a-Porter), Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs 'Natural Selection Mini Messenger Bag' (Saks Fifth Avenue), Sunglasses: Gucci, Eyeglasses chain: Tinksky (Amazon)

I wore this last Thursday to head up to LuLu Chinese in Greenwich with my fiancé. I was invited to a preview event ahead of their official opening the following day. The event was slightly disappointing because we could barely move around due to the amount of people. But the food made up for it, we loved everything we tried! More on the food below the outfit photos!

I decided to wear my beloved Carven Paris map print dress because it's been neglected this Summer! It even got a compliment from one of the women at the event. Don't you love when that happens?  Before the event started we decided to walk around the block to take outfit photos with no people around.

Paris Map Dress: Carven (YOOX), Velvet Floral Embroidered Mules: Zigi Soho (T.J. Maxx), Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs 'Natural Selection Mini Messenger Bag' (Saks Fifth Avenue), Necklace: Acanthus Jewelry 'Gemma' (giveaway win), Sunglasses: Gucci, Eyeglasses chain: Tinksky (Amazon)

On to the food! The event was basically everyone standing around long tables (which will have stools during normal business hours) and sitting at the bar with food being brought out in sample sizes.  Our favorites were the chicken spring rolls, salt & pepper shrimp and pork dumplings! The veggie fried rice was also really good. I liked the flavor of the chilled peanut noodles but it's a little odd (for me) to eat cold noodles so I wasn't a huge fan overall.  They also had crab rangoons, pork belly bao buns and a few cocktails floating around the room.

Looks unassuming outside, but the food is amazing
