{outfit} Wet 'n Wild

I hope everyone in the US is enjoying their Labor Day.  We had our family get together on Saturday and this is what I wore.  It is quite rare for me to wear all white (even this isn't totally white) but I figured in honor of the "no white after labor day" rule, I figured I'd break from the norm!  Since I don't wear white often I don't bother following that rule anyway...what are winter whites for if not for wearing white after labor day?!  Do you follow the rule?

Isn't the title for this post clever (aka not at all)...the wet come from my wet hair and the wild is obviously for my shorts!  I also went super light on the makeup; blush + mascara + lipstick.

Tee: Everlane, Shorts: Zara, Ancient Greek Sandals, Bag: Etienne Aigner (thrifted, $2.50!), Necklace: Geoclassics, Watch: Skagen (Rue La La), Rings: vintage & Mom's

  1. Please, I wear white all year, and in great abundance. I wore white nearly every day last week. Probably wear more today, if I ever get around to getting dressed.

    1. ps, I saw someone (I think it was cheetah is the new black) wearing this same look only with a black leather vest. You should keep that in mind for fall, it would be good.

  2. I love, want, need, would love to wear that skirt! Is the perfect length, style and print! Cute look for a family get together. I agree with Lyddie it would look fab with a leather vest for fall!

  3. I've never followed that rule - not that I really wear a lot of white, but still...and yes times 1000 to that awesome skirt. I'm in total agreement that you need to integrate that baby into some fall looks.
