{outfit} A Walk in the Park

  Friday, October 16, 2020 at 7:30 AM   |    Post a Comment     Tagged:,,,,,,,,,

I didn't intend on taking outfit photos this day. Christian and I went for a walk in the park for a Pokemon Go event (yes, we still play, haha!) and it was a chilly September day. We stumbled upon this pretty area of the park (sometimes these are all cut down so it doesn't look as nice) and I decided to have Christian snap some photos with his phone.

Upon viewing the photos I realized these jeans, although SUPER comfortable, are not the most photogenic. They're a little loose in the wrong places. This sweater and leather jacket combo on the other hand is perfection. I will definitely be re-wearing the top half of this at some point. It's been quite a while since I wore this jacket which is a shame. I used to wear it ALLLLL the time when I first got it in 2012.

While Christian and I are still staying extra cautious, many people are starting to get back into old routines, but we should all still take as many precautions as possible. That includes wearing masks and using hand sanitizer after touching public surfaces. Obviously I took my mask off for these photos but whenever we are near people it is always in use.

Today I'm partnering with Nakturnal to give one US-based reader a College Care Pack PPE kit from Get Go Care! It includes 60 packets of moisturizing & hydrating hand sanitizer, 15 high-quality, disposable masks and 5 durable, latex-free, disposable gloves.

Get Go Care, based in Illinois, was founded this year because of the need for PPE among not only essential workers but also students. The products are made in China at an FDA-approved factory.

  1. Well, those jeans looks a hell of a lot better fitted/more photogenic than I think any pair of jeans I've owned in the last 5 years!

    1. I think I'm just so used to skinny jeans being SKIN tight, hahaha!!!

  2. Such a cute knit and I agree with Courtney - I think the jeans look good on you! I sometimes miss the straight leg jeans I used to have in my wardrobe - they were all low rise so I got rid of them post baby, selling or donating, but I should try introduce them now that I'm back to occasionally wearing low rise jeans!

Hope you are having a nice weekend! :)

  3. You might just need to hem the jeans, the length could be what's causing them to bunch at the ankles and knee, but I do agree the leopard sweater and leather jacket combo is perfection!

  4. Your outfit looks awesome! I would give this kit to my parents.

  5. It turns out that the color and shape of the jeans you use when playing Pokemon Go ... is cool. Your photos also look good.
    Greetings from Indonesia.

  6. Love the color of that sweater! It does look great with the leather jacket, I definitely need a black one like yours to style this fall.

  7. I would like to gift this Get Go PPE Kit to my college age daughter. While she may only be attending classes online, she does have a job in retail and this would be great to gift to her.

  8. You look stylish! I love the sweater and leather jacket combo.

  9. I think these jeans are cute, they may be a little loose in places but I bet they are super comfortable! I would love to gift this PPE kit to my sister, she is a medical assistant so she is always in need of a little extra protection.

  10. Great pictures. I would love this for my daughter. Thank you so very much.

  11. I would give this to my grandson.

  12. I would gift this to a co-worker.
