It's been a while since we've had a throwback outfit. I blame my trip to Florida and the holidays. But here we are with an outfit from over 5 years ago. This blazer was one of my first designer "splurges" on eBay. I think I paid less than $30 for it back in 2010. I added in my Gucci aviators and dark purple Chloé Faye to update the look a bit. But everything else is the same.

Tee: Zara, Blazer: Moschino Cheap & Chic (eBay), Jeans: Free People (Gilt Groupe), Heels: Alexander Wang 'Freja' (The Outnet), Scarf: Yarnz c/o NET-A-PORTER, Bag: Dark Purple Chloé Faye (eBay), Sunglasses: Gucci

It's peep toe bootie timeeee!!!! I can't believe I've had these boots for just about 6 years. I still love them just as much as when I begged my mom to help me pay for them as part of my birthday gift that year.  I'm dreading the day they become too tight or too worn out to wear anymore, but hopefully that won't be any time soon!

Snake Tee: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Marshalls), Sweater: Ami Dans La Rue (Shopbop), Jeans: Free People (Gilt Groupe), Booties: Alexander Wang 'Freja' (The Outnet), Watch: Skagen (Rue La La)

This is another Nashville look I didn't take pictures of. I wore this when we went downtown to Tootsie's. I'm not a country music fan but luckily for me all the bands played great stuff! Even The Devil Went Down to Georgia, which was one of my best friends' floor music for gymnastics! I'm not normally one who goes to bars but I pretty much spent the whole night talking to a new friend, so it was pretty great!

I had actually worn my Lanvin suede sandals with this outfit but when I re-wore it I decided to wear my brand new Nicholas Kirkwood suede pumps! WOOHOO! I also threw in a little geek chic with my R2D2 necklace, because why not?!

Bodysuit: Who What Wear Collection (Target), Skirt: T by Alexander Wang 'ruched jersey miniskirt' (NET-A-PORTER), Shoes: Nicholas Kirkwood suede Prism pumps (NET-A-PORTER, also here and here), Necklace: Star Wars R2D2 c/o Kohl's, Sunglasses: Gucci

I've found a way to wear this crop top without it looking like a crop top! Just put it under a dress! The fact that it's cropped also helps it not look bulky under dresses, why didn't I think of this before?! I could also wear it over longer shirts but have yet to find one that works. Grr! This is probably more of a Fall look considering the color scheme but I had wanted to wear this dress and the idea came to me so why wait?

And no, I'm not bare legged. I have on tights I got from Hanes a couple years ago that don't look as weird as some nude tights tend to. They make my legs look just a little bit tan and perfectly smooth. You can't even see the seams in these open toe booties.

Crop Top Sweater: Zara, Sweater Dress: Miss Selfridge (Lord & Taylor), Peep Toe Boots: Alexander Wang 'Freja' (The Outnet), Necklace: Madewell

If I had a date for Valentine's Day I imagine I would wear something like this. Cozy, but still showing a bit of skin. I don't really have much red in my closet so burgundy will have to do. I hope everyone who has someone to celebrate with enjoys their plans! I will be watching a Good Eats chocolate marathon on the Cooking Channel. WOO!

Sweater: Abercrombie, Skirt: T by Alexander Wang (net-a-porter), Boots: Audrey Brooke 'Mirie' (DSW)

Now that all my trips are over it's back to Throwback Outfit Thursdays! Sometimes basic outfits are all you need. This skirt is always fun since I can play with the length a bit because of the design. I usually opt for it to be a bit shorter but I can also make it closer to my knees. And my mouse flats, Jacques and Gus, are always crowd pleasers.

Top: Cullen (Rue La La), Skirt: T by Alexander Wang (NET-A-PORTER), Mouse Flats: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Shopbop), Necklace: SparkleFarm

Revisiting what I wore on my birthday 4 years ago! I don't have the top anymore, but I do have the rest of the items. Even the bag, although I just us it to hold computer cords now. I decided to switch out the necklace to one I bought while in Boston last week (for only $8.50 at Geoclassics!) because it had some yellow in it and matched the skirt great!

Top: French Connection c/o Marshalls, Skirt: made by Mom, Booties: Alexander Wang 'Freja' (The Outnet), Necklace: Geoclassics $22, Sunglasses: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Shopbop)

This shirt may be one of my best thrifting buys from a couple years ago. I paid ONE DOLLAR for it and have worn it at least 10 times, which means it's cost per wear is 10 cents per wear at the most. Insanity!  And this Moschino jacket was one of my first few designer eBay finds in 2008 or 2009! Ahh, memories.

Shirt: thrifted, Blazer: Moschino Cheap & Chic (eBay), Jeans: Free People (Gilt Groupe),  Booties: Alexander Wang 'Freja' (The Outnet)

This has always been one of my favorite outfits. It's super cozy, but stylish and has 3 of my favorite colors to wear: teal, purple and burgundy! Not much else to share today, so enjoy the small amount of copy.

Top: Vanessa Bruno (Coco's $10 sale), Cape: cashmere (Roundabout Resale), Jeans: Free People, Boots Alexander Wang (The Outnet), Watch: Skagen (Rue La La)

The weekend before Thanksgiving I went to a little get together Lydia had at her place so of course I took the opportunity to wear this gorgeous suede jacket. I had been saving it for when she could take my outfit pictures because she makes everything look 10x more amazing than it is. The story of me getting this jacket is quite long.  I first saw it in March of this year when we went to a thrift store but I left it. Months later (July) I was still thinking about it so I went back to buy it! Then I had to wait even longer before it was cool enough to wear.

Really looking forward to going full on 70s and wearing this with my Free People flares soon. The color, and the fact that fringe and suede are in, make it a great statement piece for the Winter. Will you be sporting fringe and/or suede this season?

Also - told you this bag hardly left my arm since I bought it! It's been in 3 outfit posts in one week, haha! It seriously goes with everything! That's what I love about statement bags in weird colors, you can wear them with whatever you want.

As usual I had to narrow down from too many awesome pictures thanks to Lydia's talent. I went from 92 to 14...not bad! I was going to break it into 2 posts but figured I would spare you.

Vintage Suede Jacket: William Barry - Brandon Colorado (Vintanthromodern), Cashmere Sweater: Vince (Marshalls), Jeans: J Brand 'high rise Maria' (Gilt), Bag: Emm Kuo 'Westbourne Satchel' (Roundabout Resale), Boots: Alexander Wang 'Freja' (The Outnet)
