This dress is one of my favorite buys from Roundabout but I think it's only been on the blog once or twice! For shame! The story of how this dress entered my closet is quite long. Here's the readers digest version: June 2011 it is featured in a Closet-Worthy post. In May 2014 I spotted the dress in one of Roundabout's New York locations but left it since it was still $500. In August of 2014 the dress made it's way to my local Roundabout in Wesport and was part of their Summer blowout sale so I spent $136 on a dress that retailed for $1,995. And it was brand new with tags. SCORE!

I wore this for the first of our two Easter celebrations. My family splits the holiday so we aren't rushing to two houses in one day. I wore this to celebrate with my dad's side of the family.

Almost every year since I got this dress I've found myself wearing it on Easter. It's the perfect piece to celebrate the day and Spring. This Easter felt like Summer with temperatures in the 80s! We actually had to turn on the air conditioning at my Grandmother's and couldn't sit outside for too long because of the heat.

Disclaimer: I didn't wear these shoes while outside. I also wore a coat. That big dumping of snow we had last week was insanity. Some areas of the state had two feet of snow, luckily we had a little under a foot where I am. Spring needs to hurry on up so I can start wearing sandals again without freezing my toes off.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas weekend spent with family! (Or a regular weekend for those who don't celebrate)  Only two outfit posts left for 2016, guys! Both are my Christmas outfits and then I'll be leaving you until 2017. I'm headed to London tomorrow night to spend New Years with the Brits.

My first instinct with this look was to finish it off with my super tall black Phillip Lim boots. But then I decided to keep it a little more casual with a pair of pointy toe flats that don't get as much wear as they should. To be fair, that's mostly because they slip off my feet, so I can't wear them when I need to walk a lot. They were only $15 though, so can't complain too much!

I think my favorite part of this Jason Wu snakeskin print blouse is the extra long cuff, it adds a bit more structure to the otherwise loose shape. I still haven't figured out the best way to tie the pussy-bow so this time I just did a quick fold-over. One day I'll get it to look really good.

Temperatures are beginning to cool down again so I took the chance to wear jeans with my fun crop top from Greece! It's probably time to retire these jeans soon but I just can't seem to pull the trigger. So they come out every few months for a day in the sun!

I've been to Universal so many times in the past 3 years but this trip I did something I've never done. The Men in Black Immigration Tour. We were lucky enough to be allowed into part of the ride that most people don't get to experience: the ground floor of the immigration room. We were also able to go to the new restaurant, Toothsome Chocolate Emporium, which doesn't officially open until later this month. It is steampunk themed and is super cool inside! I highly recommend it.

This was another day where I didn't take dedicated outfit photos so it's mostly a photo diary. How adorable is the Hogwarts Express conductor!? Loved him.

Last week I took a somewhat spontanious trip to Florida with some friends. We hit up the usual haunts - Universal Studios and Disney. It was still in the 90s there so light dressing was essential. So I brought a few tank tops and shorts and stayed as cool as possible!

Happy Thursday!! I'm currently on my second day of a quick trip to Orlando with a friend so this is definitely not what I'll be wearing today.  And I confess I do have the original heels from this look but I decided I liked it better with the dark brown Prada's instead. I'm also sporting my latest pair of sunglasses from Ditto's Endless Eyewear program! I sent my Miu Miu pair back after just a week but I'm keeping these a little longer before I trade them in.  Use code CLOSETFASHIONENDLESSDITTO for your first month free!

*Soma gifted the sandals featured in this post, but all opinions are my own.*

I'm a little (fashionably) late to this trend, but when Soma Footwear asked if I wanted to style a pair of their leather shoes I decided on these pom-pom sandals which have been everywhere this Summer! Better late than never, right? I considered a pair of their ADORABLE printed or beaded ballet flats but in the end I decided to keep Summer fun going a bit longer with the sandals. Each piece, like art, is exclusive and hand embroidered/hand sewed so you know what you're getting is special.

Soma has reinvented the traditional shoe to embody a mix of East and West fashion style identities, with special attention given to comfort and quality. They source high quality leather and have superior stitching by craftsmen who have been in this field for generations. Soma has pioneered the art of incorporating traditionally worn footwear into mainstream contemporary fashions with their vibrant colors, elegant curves, impeccable finish, and commitment to quality.

When these arrived one of the tassels on the ties had fallen off, luckily I was able to just snap it back on. I've found that they're prone to popping off, so you may want to reinforce with a dab of glue.  I might sew mine on to really prevent them from slipping. I'm also horrible at tying things, so forgive the poorly done knots, haha! I'll get better eventually!
