We had our first real accumulation of snow last week, apart from the snow at the Christmas Tree farm in November and a few flurries, so I had to take some pictures before shoveling it off the driveway. (That's a lie, my cousin did it, ha ha) I decided to wear my Weasley sweater from Universal Studios and pretend I was at Hogwarts with Harry and the gang! I also double layered, leggings under my jeans and a turtleneck under the sweater. Plus some knee high socks bunched up over my jeans. Nice and toasty!

It is getting so cold out there! I was getting tired of just wearing jeans and sweaters so I decided to switch things up a bit and wear a skirt and blazer.  The skirt and blazer are both velvet, but the blazer is a dark olive green and the skirt is a muted purple. I often forget to wear my blazers because they are in a closet that's not in my room...the perils of having a teeny tiny room!

Say hello to my newest closet addition - a DKNY oversized cardigan! This was my one purchase from Net-a-Porter's End of Season sale! I was good and resisted the temptation of higher priced items. While I did spend $94 on it, I think it will last me quite a while as it contains colors I wear all the time. I ordered it last Monday, and it arrived on Tuesday. Yes, folks, a little over 24 hours later! I do love Net-a-Porter's quick shipping! And my new Chanel 'Orage' nail polish was a perfect match for the blue! I love when outfits come together perfectly like this.

Cardigan: DKNY (Net-a-Porter Sale),  Sweater: Everlane, Jeans: Current/Elliott (The Outnet), Boots: Alexander Wang (The Outnet), Necklace: Indulgems (Gilt)

I wore this the weekend before Christmas to have a lunch with Lydia. Not a particularity festive look, but I really like it! I love the idea of mixing a luxe leather skirt with an over-sized sweater, it's the perfect mix. Keeping things short today since I have tons of pictures!

Sweater: Witchery (Jaime's Blog Shop), Leather Skirt: Sienna Style (Coco's $10 sale), Boots: Tabitha Simmons (Roundabout Resale), Bag: Chanel (Madison Avenue Couture), Necklace: Isabelle M (gift),  Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs 'Henry Dinky' (Gilt)

It was an Everlane Christmas this year! Three of my five clothing item gifts were from the brand, and I returned one of the other two. Ha ha. My mom doesn't usually risk buying me clothes, so getting 1 out of 2 was good! ;) The 3 Everlane pieces were on the list I gave Santa.

I wore this to a casual dinner at a friends house. My sister and I went to visit our friends who are sisters. We all happened to become friends through my sister and my friends sister and we try to get together at least once a year.  I decided to dress up a liiiittle bit by wearing some super tall heels.  These are what my aunt likes to call sit-down shoes, because walking in them for long periods would mean death...

Sweater: Everlane (gift), Jeans: Michael Kors (gift), Shoes: Proenza Schouler (Roundabout Resale), Purple Necklace: Acanthus Jewelry (giveaway), Topaz Necklace: Grandma's

I wore this for another holiday get together at the end of last month. I sported a new cardigan my mom picked out for Christmas and the perfectly matching Everlane tee that I had on my list! It's like an updated twin-set without the old lady feel! Topping it off with the necklace made for the perfect purple look! I love when things turn out so well.

P.S. When I opened the sweater it reminded me of the one Kat wears in Casper, which I've always wanted. See a post here featuring the look (and how to get it yourself) Funnily enough I styled it the same way she did without even thinking about it.

Sometimes I can't decide what shoes to wear with an outfit, there are just so many options! I wore this outfit to a dinner with some family friends. I wanted to wear the heels so I'd feel a little dressier, but I also knew everyone else would probably be casual so I thought I should wear the flats. Needless to say I was a weirdo and brought both pairs with me and changed into the flats before getting out of the car. Oh well! It's good to have options.

The weather was oddly warm the weekend I wore this, I didn't need my leather jacket.

Leather Jacket: Theyskens' Theory (Nordstrom Rack), Sweater: Marc by Marc Jacobs 'Pyo' (Saks Off Fifth), Jeans: Free People (eBay), Flats: Chanel (eBay), Pumps: Coach 'Nacie' (Marshalls), Necklace: BubuRuby

I've been trying to wear these Chloe boots more often and they ended up in two posts for this week! Let's see how long that continues. I love them but always have trouble styling them. I can't really wear them with tights because they look strange so I can only wear them with jeans.  Also, it turns out that Emma Stone has - or had - them, YAY!

It was beginning to snow while my Dad and I were taking these photos, so any strange white spots are snow! Woo! Although, my jeans do have white spots on them on purpose, ha ha...

Sweater: Ralph Lauren c/o Marshalls, Tank: Marshalls, Jeans: Current/Elliott, Boots: Chloe (Roundabout Resale), Bag: Etienne Aigner (thrifted), Necklace: House of Harlow c/o South Moon Under, Tights: Simply Vera Wang (Kohl's)

Here it is, my last outfit post of 2014! Wow, can't believe it...can you? The title is a play on The Hobbit's final movie hashtag: #OneLastTime. Are you guys Middle Earth fans? Some of you will know that Lord of the Rings is my favorite film series (yes, even more than Harry Potter, books are my jam there) so this last journey to Middle Earth was a particularly bittersweet one. I went with my friend who I saw all the movies with for the first time (except Fellowship, which I didn't see in theaters.) I thought it was a good end to the whole six movie series. It was never going to be as good as Lord of the Rings but I think it's a great intro into the series.

I wore this the second time I went to see the movie. I went once with my friend and then the day after Christmas with my brother, sister and her boyfriend.  I preferred the non-3D version, but I may just be strange. Ha ha.

Sweater: Tahari (TJ Maxx), Tee: Everlane, Jeans: Mother c/o Marshalls, Boots: Vince Camuto (Marshalls, gift), Necklace c/o Gorjana Griffin
