I wore this a couple weeks ago for a blogger's night out event at Park and Oak Restaurant in West Hartford Connecticut.  It was a bit of a hike driving for an hour and a half but totally worth it. A few bloggers were invited by chef and co-ownder David Borselle to sample some of their popular dishes as well as some new items that will be coming this Fall! I'll share more about the event below my outfit.

When I got my Chloé Faye bag I knew I wanted to wear it with my crazy Saint Laurent patchwork blouse and Free People flares. It has such a fun 70s vibe about it. I decided to go a bit wild with my shoes and wore leopard print to add even more print to the look.

Now on to the food! Park and Oak opened on November 30, 2016 and they have been a hit ever since. I can see why because the attention to detail in the food is amazing! Chef David calls the style American comfort food with a chef's touch. Meaning they make comfort food, but with a twist to make it more creative. They also use responsibly sourced local ingredients to give customers the highest quality product possible. Now let's get on to the food!
Cheers!

We also had a delicious roasted sweet potato with roasted peppers, chili pepper and cojita cheese,  but my picture came out too dark.
Another outfit from a cooler day. This sweater is perfect for those weird weather days. The deep v's on both sides let in a nice breeze and the cashmere is thin enough that it's okay to wear when its warm. I decided to wear my necklace backward since there is such a deep v in the back. I feel like the movie stars who wore diamonds on their backs at the Oscars. Except not glamorous at all.

Cashmere Sweater: Calypso St. Barth (Gilt Groupe), Jeans: J Brand 'Maria' High Rise (Gilt Groupe), Leopard Pumps: Cole Haan (Roundabout), Necklace c/o Marrin Costello, Purse: Wink & Winn (giveaway, no longer in business)

This dress is one of my favorite buys from Roundabout but I think it's only been on the blog once or twice! For shame! The story of how this dress entered my closet is quite long. Here's the readers digest version: June 2011 it is featured in a Closet-Worthy post. In May 2014 I spotted the dress in one of Roundabout's New York locations but left it since it was still $500. In August of 2014 the dress made it's way to my local Roundabout in Wesport and was part of their Summer blowout sale so I spent $136 on a dress that retailed for $1,995. And it was brand new with tags. SCORE!

I wore this for the first of our two Easter celebrations. My family splits the holiday so we aren't rushing to two houses in one day. I wore this to celebrate with my dad's side of the family.

Dress: Jason Wu 'Okal Print Dress' (Roundabout), Sandals: Prada (The Real Real), Necklace: Marrin Costello

This is the first "real" outfit I wore after getting home from London. All the others apart from this were rain boots + comfiest jeans + big sweaters. Haha! Here's one of the things I bought with Christmas money from my Grandma. A double v-neck cashmere sweater! It's actually a little big so I have to find a way to keep the shoulders from falling down. Tried to show the v in the back but my bag strap kind of messed it up, oh well! Work with what we've got!

Jacket: thrifted, Cashmere Sweater: Calypso St. Barth 'Gylden' (Gilt), High Waisted Jeans: J Brand 'Maria' (Gilt), Bag: Chanel 2.55 Double Flap (Madison Avenue Couture), Boots: Gianvito Rossi 'Finlay' (Marshalls), Necklace: Marrin Costello

I was going to call this "Coffee Break," but since I got hot chocolate (and don't drink coffee) I think my choice is more appropriate. I wore this last weekend for a long overdue meetup with Lydia and Christine. We hadn't seen Christine since before she had her ADORABLE baby last year so it was great to catch up, and meet her daughter.

It was actually a super warm day so I didn't need to bring the nice chunky sweater that matched perfectly with my look. I did throw it on for a few photos though. My Lanvin sandals perfectly matched with these jeans so I was super pumped! I'm hoping to get a few more wears out of these before it gets too cold, maybe I'll wear them with socks! ;)

I'm also looking forward to many more wears for this Saint Laurent patchwork blouse! This is only it's 4th appearance on the blog since buying it last January but I've worn it at least 6 times bringing it's cost per wear down to a (still high) $58. Now that we're getting into cooler temperatures I can bring it out more and more!  The sandals, on the other hand are down to $45 (or less) and I've only had them since July.

Sweater: Cocogio (Marshalls), Patchwork Blouse: Saint Laurent (eBay), Suede Jeans: Blank NYC (South Moon Under), Suede Sandals: Lanvin (Net-a-Porter), Bag: Emm Kuo (Roundabout Resale), Sunglasses: Prada via Ditto Endless Eyewear, Necklace: Marrin Costello

This is my attempt at making these pants work for Fall. I'm not entirely sure it worked but oh well! The fabric and bright white just don't scream Fall to me. Maybe when it's cooler I'll try it with a thick sweater to see if the contrast works better than the thin tee.

Top: Everlane, Pants: Proenza Schouler (Yoox, also here), Ballet Flats: Chanel (Roundabout Resale), Necklaces: Marrin Costello, Gorjana & , Sunglasses: Ray Ban Aviator via Ditto Endless Eyewear [Use code CLOSETFASHIONENDLESSDITTO for your first month free]
