I wore this for my family's early Christmas celebration on the 21st. We had to do it extra early this year because I came to Missouri to celebrate Christmas with Christian's family. My first Christmas EVER not at home, so weird! I haven't worn this dress in a while and decided to give it some love.

Dress: Marc by Marc Jacobs 'Dancing Lights' dress, Heels: Coach 'Nacie' (Marshalls), Necklace: House of Harlow 'Sunburst' (from Lydia)

For some reason whenever I wear these pants I feel like wearing other animal prints. In this case the cheetah print blouse from Equipment and 'croc effect' sandals from Ancient Greek Sandals. This was worn on a day where the temperature dropped just enough for me to be able to wear pants. I've been getting a little tired of the heat and only being able to wear shorts so it was a nice change. But this shirt and sandals still kept me airy and cool. Any look is made better with a leather handbag, so that’s how I finished off my look.

Blouse: Equipment 'Reese' in Cheetah/Cat Print (eBay), Snakeskin Texture Jeans: Jolt (Marshalls), Sandals: Ancient Greek Sandals 'Athanasia' in Croc (Moda Operandi), Merces Petite Bag c/o Orox Leather Co. Sunglasses: Gucci

Do you have an item of clothing that you love but don't wear often because of the lack of clothing that really goes with it? For me it's these shorts. I try to find new ways to wear them but it's hard. In the past I've worn them with a blue knitted sweater tank, black v-neck sweater, and purple double v-neck sweater. I was going to wear them with a blue tank top this time but it was too similar to a past outfit so I went with this crop top instead.  They're also hard to style the way I want because I like to show off the awesome high waist and most of my shirts are longer and don't look right tucked in.

Crop Top: Simple Retro (Amazon), Tweed Colorblock Shorts: Proenza Schouler (Roundabout), Heels: Manolo Blahnik (Roundabout), Bag c/o Orox Leather Co 'Merces Petite Saddle', Sunglasses: Chanel, Necklace: House of Harlow 1960 'Five Station Blackened Arrowhead'

This outfit is full of sale finds! The tee was $20 from The Outnet's clearance sale a couple years ago and it retailed for $135...sheesh! The rainforest print Carven skirt is from the Net-a-Porter sale quite a few years ago and the Lanvin studded suede sandals are also from the Net-a-Porter sale! I've made my single purchase for this year's sale but you won't see what it is for a few months. *wink wink*

I wore this to hang out with Lydia for a bit on Saturday afternoon. We headed to lunch at Joey C's Boathouse and then came to this fun "sea wall" for our outfit photos. This is the first time in a while  that we have taken photos together. The past few times we've gotten together we haven't been in the mood to take out the tripod for double shots. Luckily this time we had my lovely photographer/fiance to do all the work.

Tee: Vince (The Outnet), Skirt: Carven (Net-a-Porter Sale), Studded Suede Sandals: Lanvin (Net-a-Porter Sale), Bag c/o Orox Leather 'Merces Saddle,' Sunglasses: Gucci
