{outfit} Lady in Red

Why do I always seem to pick the days where it is FREEZING cold outside.  I'm not totally in love with this outfit, it didn't turn out exactly how I wanted it, but I decided to post them anyway so me freezing my butt off wasn't wasted.

The shoes I wore were a little tall for these pants since I've grown quite a bit since I first bought them so that bugs me a bit...but I enjoy the general look I was going for.  I also decided to accessorize a lot more than usual with a snake necklace, turtle ring and some smaller rings I inherited from my mother/grandmother (I can't remember whose they were now...) One is a spoon ring, does anyone else have one of these babies? I LOVE them, they're made from old spoons and you can resize them easily.  Its cool to think that my ring could potentially be from the early 1900s, sadly I don't know exactly what year it's from.

Sweater: Madewell via ShopBop gift card, Jeans: Mudd (circa ~2001), Coat: DKNY $75, Watch: Michael Kors, Purse: Mulberry won from The Flower Girl, Clog Sandals: Target $12, Cobra Necklace: Vanessa Mooney won from Sterling Style, Turtle Ring: Forever 21 $5, Other Rings: used to be mom's/grandma's

And here is a blooper shot from when I was trying to get a shot of my rings, but I like it anyway.

Aaaand here is where I sit every morning before work. I get up at 7am and comment on blogs until I'm ready to get dressed or take outfit pictures. Then I leave for work at 8:20, so I pretty much spend an hour doing blogging stuff instead of sleeping in. See what I do for you guys? :p

Love the bright sweater too - even though it's not orange it looks orange.
Outfit photos have just been a miserably cold affair these days.
