{outfit} Merry Little Stroll

Here are some better photos of what I wore to my work Holiday Party last Thursday.  We had a pre-celebration at the office and then I hung out with a co-worker at her apartment while we waited for another friend.  Then we headed to the party, which was held at The Rosewood.  Unfortunately I didn't last long in there, it was far too crowded and my social anxiety took over (not fun,) so I headed out earlier than expected.  I still had a great night though! :D

Last weekend, when I told my roommate and friends that I was planning on wearing these two pieces as a suit, one of my friends (you know who you are!!) said I was going to look like a Grandma and "Why would you wear them together?!"  I quite enjoy this outfit and I think it's perfect for the holidays, it was a hit at the office too. How about you, my dear readers?

[P.S. The Man Repeller suggests a suit too! I guess great minds think alike ;)]

  8. I love the idea of wearing a suit instead of a dress, it's such a great way to mix things up. I really love this one especially, the color is fantastic and the shoes are a really fun touch.

  10. Granny who?! I think this outfit is stunning and striking...work it with those heels!!!
One might think that wearing a velvet suit might be outdated, but the modern cut and the color definitely doesn't make it grandmama-ish. you definitely pulled this off - glad you got the blazer!!
