Daily Inspiration: Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella

  Monday, June 7, 2010 at 10:18 AM   |    Post a Comment     Tagged:,

I was watching Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella over the weekend (great movie! I still remember the night I watched it when it premiered on abc in 1997) so I decided to do an inspiration post with their crazily bright patterned outfits! If you haven't seen it, buy it and watch it!
Sadly there aren't many photos online and I didn't have time to take screencaptures of my dvd, haha.

I still remember thinking, the dad is black the mom is white but the prince is asian?! didn't make any sense! regardless it was a cute movie. and LOL about why your friends hate Zac Efron. Well I hate Demi Lovato cuz she's in Camp rock. so can't say I'm not guilty of the same thing!

  13. Aw I love this version of Cinderella! I remember it was the first time I heard "In My Own Little Corner" and fell in love with it. Don't get me wrong, the Disney Cinderella is lovely, but there's something about the colorful scenery and over all more upbeat feeling that I love/d about this one! And Brandy is so gorgeous!

  18. Omg I remember this! I loved, loved, loved Brandy back in the day. It makes me so sad now to think about her. Her voice was so angelic. She should definitely continue making music. But the outfits were so deliciously comical in this movie. Haha. I love the stepsisters outfits

    1. It wasn't produced by Disney, however when it was first broadcast in November 1997, it was on ABC's "Wonderful World of Disney" which aired on Sunday nights. And now that it's finally available for streaming, who has the rights to do that? DISNEY+.
