Target Go International

On March 13th I ordered four of Target's Go International Re-Release dresses. Sadly only the Proenza Schouler dress looked really good.  The two Thakoon dresses were okay, but the thin strapped one was a bit weird on top. I did really like the black and white Thakoon, but I'm not sure if I want to keep it.  The Tracy Feith dress was a little too tight so I couldn't zip it all the way, but it looked good from the front, ha ha. My sister and I ended up going to Target on Saturday and they had the Tracy Feith dress in the next size and it fit both of us...so we might keep it and share it.

I've put the ones I wasn't sure about on eBay and if they don't sell I'll decide what to do with them.  The auction links are under the images. If you want to make an offer off ebay you can email me and I can remove the listing ;) They end on Tuesday so I should be able to ship them before I go on vacation (Depending on how fast you pay, I ship the same or next day)

And here is how I look in the dresses, these are just quick shots I had my sister take when we were trying them on (she got a Zac Posen one, but it didn't fit).  The designer is under the image.

I also did a bit more shopping on Saturday, I got bright pieces (which my wardrobe is sorely lacking...sadly 2 will never be seen by eyes other than mine). I got 2 t-shirt bras at Victoria's Secret for $25 (I had a coupon, WOO!)  I also got some coral Steve Madden wedges for $19.99.  But I'm being bad this month...I bet I go over budget even though there's only 1 week left that will count toward my monthly spending.  I haven't added the Target dresses to the sidebar yet, I'm waiting until they sell so I can figure out how much they really cost me.
(The money I spend in Florida doesn't count because I budgeted my vacation spending for Florida and London at the beginning of the year with the rest of my yearly budget)

  2. Haha, my sister and I often buy something and share it, and we're fairly civilized about who gets it when someone moves. The first dress is really pretty, and I also like the third and fourth (too bad the fourth doesn't zip up though. Oh well, good luck selling!

  3. Also, I think you should keep the second one, if only because it has sleeves! Which is always a plus in a dress. ; )

  8. The PS dress definitely looks the best! Glad to hear you're keeping it. Amazingly I'm managing to not pick up any of these dresses...the only ones I think I'm interested in are the Tucker ones, and I already tried those on back fall and know they don't fit me too well.

I'm doing great on my unofficial budget! Up until yesterday, I'd only spent $75 on clothes this month.

  33. I was kind of disappointed with the re-release. The dresses fit weird.... I got one that I need to have tailored.

  34. Sorry all but one of your dresses ended up on ebay! What a bummer. I really like that b/w thakoon, but the neckline and sleeves leave much to be desired.

Love the new wedges though, and I hope you find a boyfriend soon - I'm sure there someone out there. Maybe you'll find a cutie in London and you can take him home with you. And he'll have an adorable British accent.

  40. Oooo love those wedges. I think you look so nice in the dresses but I was there today and it's the quality that really bugs me about the Go. It used to be much nicer, sigh...

  41. I think the Thakoon dress with colorful flowers looks phenomenal on you. I think you should keep it! I don't LOVE the other one... it kind of swallows you, but it looks smart and professional. The Proenza Schouler is a must-have for summer!!! I tried on a bunch of the others in-store and was disappointed. Reeeeeally disappointed. I plan on blogging about the experience next week.
