Pink and Burgundy

As you guys saw in Friday's post, I wore this on Wednesday! This outfit was inspired by Anh of 9to5Chic and the last look in this post.  I changed it up a bit by making it monochromatic (minus my purse). As I said on Friday these pants are SO old, we're talking Freshman year of High School (which was almost 9 years ago...) I am still amazed that they fit me so well, they must have been super long because I have grown at least a few inches since then.

Speaking of growing, a lot of you guys said I look really tall in my photos but the truth is...I am only 5'2"!  That is the power of high heels, the perfect pants and good photo cropping. When I met Jamie she was so surprised by my height, I found it quite amusing.

Pants: Bongo $?, Tank: Ellen Tracy (TJ Maxx) $12, Blazer: Jones New York $40, Pumps: Marc by Marc Jacobs via net-a-porter gift card, Watch: Michael Kors, Purse: Marc by Marc Jacobs

  2. Haha, you do look taller in your photos! Wearing a monochromatic outfit definitely helps. I'm all about red pants this season - and I just might need a pair of red heels too.

  13. Got to love the little photo tricks you can play to look taller - and those pants look awesome and totally on trend - everything really does come around again.
of course when i was a freshman, i wore denim overalls, and even though this free bird is lusting after the modern day equivalent, I dont think i'd want to wear it!

  28. 5'2"????? I for sure thought you were taller than me (I'm just under 5'6". Haha, apparently I have a lot to learn about photo cropping, or maybe I should just suck it up and wear heels, hehe.

I love the burgundy pants... burgundy and cranberry are basically two colours that can do no wrong!
