{outfits} This Week in Fashion

It's getting chilly out there! I hope everyone had a lovely first week of Fall. I enjoyed being able to wear only a sweater with no coat, for now. We better enjoy this in between weather while we can.  This was an interesting week. On Wednesday I was stuck working at home because train service to Grand Central was suspended due to a power failure.  It couldn't have happened on a better day, though. It was my sister's birthday so I was able to have dinner with my family to celebrate. The day before that my twin cousins celebrated their 18th birthday, that makes me feel so old (I'm 7 years older than them!) And pretty soon I'll be a quarter of a century old...time flies. Lots of birthday talk today, ha ha.

Unfortunately trains are going to be crazy for up to three weeks because of the power outage.  So I won't be able to go into the office until it's fixed.  I did not go in yesterday but you'll notice there is an outfit there. That's because that is what I planned on wearing on Wednesday (I got dressed Wednesday, drove to the train station and drove home) and then was going to wear yesterday so I figured I'd leave it since I had the photo. ;)\

  2. Look at you in tights already!! This cold weather is stressing me out, I already feel like I have nothing to wear. Or at least, nothing I want to wear.

Enjoy sleeping in for these next few weeks!!

  9. Cute! I love the distressed skinny jeans.

I think it's really cute that we both post our weekly work outfits on Friday and we were both doing this before we were even aware of each other's blogs. Great minds think alike!

    Happy Weekend Megan!

  11. I especially like your Calvin Klein overalls (what a great thrifting find). Glad you got to celebrate your sister's birthday with a family dinner too.
