{outfit} Trying to Mix it Up

It's still chilly but I wanted to break my rut of wearing jeans everyday so I opted for these slightly flared velvet pants I've had for years. Hopefully soon I'll be able to start wearing dresses and skirts without freezing. Guess we'll see what Mother Nature has in store for us next week!

Colorblock Faux-Fur Vest: Romeo & Juliet Couture, Turtleneck: French Connection (Marshalls), Pants: Glo, Boots: No.704b.  (DSW), Sunglasses: Michael Kors (Marshalls), Bag: Emm Kuo 'Calle Bahia' (Roundabout)

  1. I woke up this morning to snow covering everything here again - it's like winter just won't quit...ever!

  2. Oh yes flares! I haven't worn mine all winter. Probably because I have to wear them with a heel and I've had my heels dug into being comfy in my flats lately. Hope things warm up soon!

  4. They are such awesome flares! I love the textures with the olive knit and the faux fur vest too, it's a wonderful combination of colours.

While we are in the opposite season and it's autumn here, the weather still seems to be holding on to summer too. Definitely not autumn like yet!

Hope you are having a lovely weekend :) It was the little one's birthday party yesterday so that was a lot of fun! Today is a quiet day to recover after that busy day and crazy week though, haha!
