{recap} Wardrobe Update - December

  Monday, December 30, 2019 at 7:30 AM   |    Post a Comment     Tagged:,,,,,
Well, we made it. My final wardrobe update for 2019! I did a pretty good job this year at not spending too much on clothes. I still bought a few things I haven't worn much (the blazers) but I love them all the same.  I still have to wear the black polka dot dress from Joie but I think I have an appropriate occasion coming up so stay tuned!

The champion of my 2019 spending is my Autumn Cashmere sweater. It's only been on the blog 4 times but I've worn it much more than that since buying it in January. The mark of a good wardrobe item is if it brings you joy and this sweater does that. Every time I wear it my mood is instantly lifted!

I got a few clothing items as gifts for Christmas this year and that's all I added to my closet!

  1. Those block heels are fab! And yes, I totally agree, when something lifts your mood and makes you feel great wearing it—it's a keeper.

  2. i'm impressed you managed to get so much so cheaply - you made the most of your gift cards and credits and ad money to only spend a little extra this year!

I thought I was doing good with my spend to till I saw yours, haha! But I've included gift cards in my spend :)

Hope that you had a great 2019 and you have a wonderful new year ahead of you! :)

    1. Yea, I got lucky with ad money this year! Would be a scary amount if I included that in the total o.O (But as that money never reaches my bank account I treat it as not real money, ha ha)

  3. You did so good this year! I probably spent ten times that... oy. But of course you had a home, and got to travel, and had far better things to spend your money on. I'm glad you filled your closet with things you truly love!
