As the weather gets warmer, I'm all about less is more when it comes to clothes, and jewelry. That doesn't have to mean fewer pieces thanks to thin stackable rings from Aurate! I'm excited to finally be breaking out all my Summer pieces like denim shorts and lightweight dresses.  And the clothes I bought last year and didn't get to wear much.

Mostly I'm excited to start cycling through my collection of Ancient Greek Sandals. We all know my obsession for the brand runs deep. I now own 11 pairs, we'll see if I can resist adding a new style this Summer. I intended to wear a pair with this outfit but Christian persuaded me to switch to another favorite pair of sandals - my Lanvin studded sandals! I wore the black version instead of my multicolor suede pair.

If I had more places to go this Summer I would finally try out Rent The Runway's subscription service to go all out on the fashion front. It would be a nice change after rarely getting dressed this past year and a half. But we all know I'm still a homebody at heart, so it won't be worth it for me, ha ha! At least I can take advantage of their clearance section with items that have been retired from renting.

How dreamy are these photos? The day we took the photos, cottonwood was in full force making it look like it was snowing. The wind aided in their spread across our favorite park.  Have you ever experienced these seeds blowing off their trees in the wind where you live?

As I mentioned on Tuesday, I had two weddings to attend last month. This is what I wore to the second for a friend I've had since elementary school. She was friends with my sister and I was friends with her sister so we kind of became a foursome. Her wedding was the weekend after my cousins and we had warmer weather and no wind, which was lovely!

It was held at the Keller Tavern Museum Garden House, a beautiful location especially in Fall! For this wedding I went with a more Fall color palette by wearing my brown Edun dress and Prada sandals. This dress, like my Burberry one, has been in my closet since early 2012. I first wore it to the Grand Opening of the Harry Potter Studio Tour in London. I'm also pretty sure I found the exact necklace I bought in Santorini online - shop it here!

I got a compliment on the dress from a very stylish wedding guest who was in a voluminous black top and pants with what I'm assuming were Chanel pumps because they looked a bit like this but with camellias or logos on the mesh (she also had a Chanel bag.) I enjoy how even if a piece is technically "past season" it doesn't matter as long as it makes a statement. There's no need to buy a new dress for every special occasion as long as you have a few standout pieces to rotate through. I have another wedding in January and am still deciding which of the dresses I already own I will wear. (But who knows, I may break my own rule and buy something new.)

And now I'm taking a week off of posting as I'll be at Disney World from Monday to Friday! I'll be back the next week with more outfits and a couple Disney posts! Follow my trip on Instagram!

And a bonus shot of Christian and I at the wedding:

I've had this tank for 4 years but I don't wear it much because I've found it hard to style. The slits make it fit weird with certain items so I can't really wear it with shorts. I attempted to in this look but I'm not sure what I think. I need to stick with wearing skinny jeans to offset the looseness.

I also realize I've been wearing this purse way too often, but I go through phases. I'm going to try to swap it for another purse for a bit but I'm sure you'll see it again in Fall because small purses are "in," not that I really pay too much attention to trends.

I wore this a few weeks ago to attend a blogger dinner at Eli's Tavern in Milford. I didn't want to wear jeans so I decided to wear my fun Proenza Schouler printed pants! I love these but I always style them the same way, black on top and some sort of heel. I think next time I'll pair them with my knitted tank sweater and some flats for a more dressed down look! And, although this outfit has lots of designer pieces, they were bought resale or on discount. The only full price item here are my sunglasses which were a vacation splurge.

Lydia and I tried multiple locations for these photos before the dinner so you get a mix of backgrounds to enjoy, ha ha.

I finally broke out my new Lanvin studded city sandals a couple weekends ago! I bought them back in January when I was getting a replacement pair of my suede Lanvin city sandals! I got both pairs for $120, far less than the $316 splurge on the originals in 2016 - still totally worth it for how much I wore/will wear them. I will still continue to wear the originals until they become too gross/broken. Don't you just love knowing you have a backup of one of your favorite items of clothing so you can wear it to death without worrying about replacing it?

I went with a simple outfit for a day of hanging out at my parents after a walk in the park. The weather is finally starting to stay nice so Christian and I will hopefully get back into our old walking habits. Although not every day since he works full time now.
