{outfit} Couples Halloween Costume for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

On our Disney trip last month I made sure we got tickets to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! Tickets for the rest of the parties this month are sold out, but if you happen to be at Magic Kingdom on the night of a party you could always ask guest services if they have any day-of tickets (unlikely.)

I knew right away what our costumes had to be - Wall-E & Eve! When we first started dating I bought matching Mickey ears and hoodies on a Disney World trip I took with my best friend. They finally made their debut at Disney World 5 years later! These were more like Disneybounding costumes than trying to look exactly like the characters. To finish off our looks I wore white jeans and my white Ancient Greek Sandals. Christian wore a pair of khakis.

Unfortunately they don't sell these pieces in the parks anymore so you'll have to search eBay, Poshmark, etc. I found a few and linked them below. Eve ears are easier (and cheaper) to find than the Wall-E ears. You could also just go for simple pieces - white top and jeans, yellow top and khakis. Or even find costumes on etsy.

The Halloween party is so fun becasue of all the photo ops, ride overlays, entertainment and of course Trick-or-Treating! We did a nice mix of everything by waiting in line for 3 photos at once (and then running across the park when Mickey's line went down to 10 minutes!) watching the second parade of the night and trick-or-treating in between.

We also rode Haunted Mansion to see the live actors they have in the graveyard and rode Space Mountain completely in the dark with scary music.  A Cast Member "pixie dusted" us after we got off Space Mountain and asked if we wanted to ride again. Obviously we said yes so she brought us up a back way to skip ahead of the line again. SO FUN!

The best part of the Boo To You Parade actually happens before the parade actually begins. The Headless Horseman (on a REAL HORSE) rides the parade route as a warning that something big is coming. Hearing the click clack of the horses hooves in complete silence is super cool.

When Trick-or-Treating at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party you can find locations on the map or look for the lighted blow-up station markers. The Cast Members will load up your bag so if you really want to stock up on candy bring something to put your candy into after they put it in your trick-or-treat bag. We didn't want to have to carry too much home with us so we just filled up the bags we were given.

There are also a lot of other Halloween-themed treats available for purchase at the party! I had a few on my list but we only ended up getting a couple things. The Binx Pastry Tail, inspired by Binx from Hocus Pocus - and a riff on my favorite treat the Cheshire Cat Tail, was my main objective for the day. Christian picked out the Pain & Panic Hot Dog at Casey's Corner. An all-Beef Foot-long Hot Dog topped with Sweet-and-Spicy Onion Relish and Spicy Cheese-flavored Snacks (aka Cheetos.)

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is always a fun time and worth splurging on if you can. If you don't want to buy a park ticket for the day and the Halloween party you can enter the park at 4pm with your party ticket, which still gives you EIGHT HOURS in Magic Kingdom.
