{outfit} Romeo & Juliet

I am in LOVE with my new Burberry Brit sweater. It is so comfortable and warm! If I wore long sleeves under it I could probably go coat-less! It is just a teeny bit big (I bought the last one and they didn't have my size, haha), but I like things over-sized and this way I can layer more.

I'm so glad I splurged on this in the NAP sales. Sometimes I'm too stingy with my money and don't buy things even if I really love them, then can't stop thinking about them. Another problem I have is buying a few things that are super on sale instead of buying one thing I really love (not that I don't enjoy what I buy, but I would probably like the one thing far more.) Am I the only person with that problem?

Song of the Day: Romeo & Juliet by Dire Straits
(I was going to pick a song that went better with the outfit, like Baby's In Black by The Beatles, but I've wanted to use this song for a post title for a while because it's one of my favorites...especially the live version)

Sweater: Burberry Brit (Net-a-Porter Sale), Jeans: Free People (Gilt Groupe), Wedges: R2 (DSW), Watch: Michael Kors (Lord & Taylor), Sunglasses: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Shopbop), Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Shopbop)

  3. Such a gorgeous sweater! I am the same way with my purchases. I find myself blowing money on sale items simply because of the sale rather than choosing one item I really, really love!

  6. yes, I do tend to get things because 'they are too cheap not to!'
but I'm always worried that I might choose to splurge on the wrong thing. some of my favorite things turned out to be that inexpensive item i took a chance on.

love the sweater, the peplum is so cute!

  15. I think it's a good idea to just buy one thing that's really special, rather than heaps of things because I think you will cherish it more? But that's just me. The sweater looks cute on you!
